Remember what "changing subject" is all about? I don't want to turn the boxing discussion into another war with you, aren't you tired of losing them all? It's clear that you crave attention and troll into every thread about Klitschko to stirr up some ****. I'm not going to respond to your ******ed posts any more, I'm tired of seeing your getting a new ******* every time. You must be ****ting in what, 5-6 strings by now? Buzz off, little Boozo.
I don't think you can deny that when he was fighting, flawed as he was, Klitschko was the top heavyweight in the world. I would have taken him to beat Rahman as I believe that all you need do with Rahman is hurt him early or take him out of his game early enough and he loses his taste for the fight. I guess you guys have a bit of a storied history here eh? It's very early in the year, so maybe your debate might have another drastic twist very soon.
oo the irony, vitali is a ***** for trying to become mayor of a city and mend his country, but if he loses (which i doubt) he will come back to fight the winner of toney/rahman and if it is toney he will be a ***** for fighting the man who beat the guy he ducked? lolol
For once I have to agree with the Klitschko Hater Gang.
I liked Vitali and was impressed with his performances. But he has become too injury prone. The big hotels aren't going to be that interested in hosting one of his events after he screwed them in Nov., not to mention the other delays and injuries he had.
He'd be 35 attempting a comeback and shaking off mounds of ring rust. Not to say that I think it wouldn't be interesting and a nice shakeup to the division if he returned, especially now with King's strangle hold on the division loosened up, but the odds are definitely stacked against him. I wouldn't hold out much hope (a) for a comeback or (b) for a successful one.
The only thing that makes me question that he might is if Wlad beats Byrd. And then the WBC has granted him that privilege of immediate title shot upon his return. So then that old dream of holding simultaneous belts may be too strong to resist.... but somehow I just don't think so.
I don't care one way or the other whether the big man comes back. I will say that he does not deserve an instant title shot, WBC champion emertius or whatever its called, is a joke. If Vitali were Rahman, Ruiz, or Byrd, people would be up in arms about him getting an instant title shot. Hes a good fighter, but he needs to earn his shot. This all assuming he does come back.

....You just made the point. He isn't Ruiz, Rahman, or Byrd. He was considered the man before he left and all those guys are just pretenders. The WBC and ring champ deserves some consideration if he comes back.

I don't think that Vitali's instant title shot is any more undeserved than Rahman's WBC belt that he "earned" on paper or Golota's 3 title shots in the row or Ruiz's decisions.
I say he should challenge Rahman IF the Rock loses to Toney. U guys are right, he doesnt deserve a title shot and his future in boxing doesnt look good because of injuries age and inactivity.

I think he will stay retired, honestly.
...Who knows?? I bet he will stay retired, but the article was interesting. I knew it would get certain people's panties in a bunch. The same people who have me blocked from their threads and are allowed to come in here and voice their fears at the very idea that he may be back. You have a good point about the injuries and a venue taking a chance that he won't pull out with another one.
