Glovokin, why does he hit so hard? He's not that heavy or fast?

You know that intense sensation you feel in your d*ck when you ******?

Yeah, that's what Golovkin feels in his fists when he punches.

When he commits to his punches (i.e. becomes aroused), blood flows to his arms, making them hard (erect). The extra mass allows his fists to strike with more force (penetration).

You are wrong about him not being fast. His punches travel through the air with great speed and perfect technique. He puts maximum body weight in his punches and he punches with great accuracy. He often lands many punches in a row in combination. It might be a long time if ever that we see a fighter go the full distance with GGG.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but his gloves are doctored....

He has small hands so it's ok to adjust the padding? Bull****. I need to see him fight with some regular gloves just like everyone else and fight the elite of the division with normal, unmanipulated gloves.

Everytime I look at a .gif of this dude his gloves look square. This guy is a fraud until he uses gloves with the padding in the correct place.

And screw all that 'the Commission allows it so it's ok'.....Margarito and Tito were allowed to fight with questionable gloves until they got caught by Brother Nazeem.

With Golovkin it all comes from natural strength and leverage. His punches force opponents to give way. He is more like a George Foreman type puncher, not fast, but knows how to generate torque.

That is the type of power that wears opponents down. They get hit and then carry that punch with them, and they add up. Pavlik was the same way, he was slow, but his punches took their toll on opponents. Golovkin though I think will be a level above Pavlik because he is very good at setting opponents up and more defensively sound.

It has to do with intention. Golovkin intends to knock you out, he commits, so does Maidana, so does Mathyse and Valero, so does Pacman. They are willing to get hit, they get in close and get in exchanges where fighters are more succeptible and they are not exactly power punchers that's how they get their knockouts.

Look at Mayweather, Bradley, Trout, Lara, Sturm,Malignaggi. They all have good technique, good bodies but their intent of getting in line of fire is not exactly there.

When you counter punch and that's your style you're not exactly always on your front foot, you are always looking out for incoming fire, you don't just settle in on throwing the bad power shots. The fighters that have the physical tools and the technique but do not punch as hard it's just because their mindset is not like the guys we mentioned. Look at JMM, he's willing to get hit and get in an exhange and he's got over 40 kos. He's got the mindset of hurting people. Bernard Hop is a great technician, great specimen, he's there to hurt you but he worries about being preserved. I don't think GGG is stronger than Bhop or Andre Ward or that he has bigger hands but look how he fights getting in close in line of fire and clipping guys from close range that either cover up or a shell shocked by his demenar and are easy pray.
