Not since I started [really] following boxing. I think a lot of people thought Mosley could beat him, I'm not sure who actually went out on a limb and predicted a Shane victory, but I recall a lot of posters giving Shane a good chance. I gave Shane a legit chance cause I wasn't impressed with Floyd's welterweight run thus far so Shane was a logical step up, even at 38.

And to Floyd's credit, he's a great fighter so it's not so easy to predict against him and mean it.

The Margarito victory was great, but just one fight prior he looked like absolute **** versus Mayorga. You watch that Ricardo Mayorga fight and tell me in all seriousness you think Shane Mosley could beat Floyd Mayweather more than 2 years form now. The Tony victory made a lot of people forget and that **** was 15 months before the Floyd fight in actuality. Floyd ain't no tune-up fight for a 38 year old man.

But again, I think most of that predicting for Floyd has to do with how very good a fighter he is. You don't have to look at his resume or have watched all his fights, just watch him in the ring once, and you'll know this guy can fight.

Shane was washed up against Floyd and PAC... He beat Margarito because Tony got caught moments before going out to fight..mentally he was all done and didn't have it... Margarito was known for his insane chin....
Floyd fought Oscar the second time in 2003!! Floyd 7 fkin yrs later for Christ sake....

I thought Alvarez would do more than he did. Didn't think he'd win though.

DLH because if Floyd didn't blow it away clear he would get robbed. Floyd blew it away clearly and still almost got robbed.

The rematch with DLH..................but we know Floyd thought a retirement was in order right before that fight happened for some odd reason.

Bradley, Canelo, Guerrero, Marquez, Ortiz, Rios. Also take into account he unofficially lost to Bradley and lost by KO to marquez. I'd rank their last 3 even but only because Bradley is a solid fighter.
The ghost would give manny tons of trouble. Ghost doesnt just brawl he boxes and is very good at.

You tell me when the last time pac fought some one with a good jab? theres a reason pac didnt fight raheem after he beat morales. because raheem would of derailed the pac hype a long time ago

Its been so long I can hardly remember maybe Mosley. That is exactly why Floyd need to fight guys at 154 instead of trying to sell us a fight with Amir Khan.
