I just think Floyd would either have to decide to run all night or sit and exchange at some point. If he could blank Manny the way he does these B class guys hhe's been fighting then Hey, what can you say, hes obviously by far the best of this generation.
It's not as simple as you make it and in no way Manny the best fighter of a generation which includes Floyd. The other variables such as ring generalship, height, reach, ring IQ etc says otherwise. Pacquiao is exciting mainly due to all of his flaws.

The thing Floyd does better than any fighter is control distance. Have you noticed how many times Pacquiao whiffs on shots? He doesn't set up shots, he literally rinses and repeats and for all the footwork, it was exactly that which allowed JMM to time his stutter step move he does before he goes on offensive.

So you think goes 12 rounds against Manny and doesn't get touched up or have to trade with him at all? I see it differently. Either you trade or you go in a shell and lose. Floyd will counter him of course but he'll get hit...

Floyd will not fight just anybody. Manny WILL. It is why he's the best of this era, and not Floyd. Floyd did it to himself and now his fans are turning on him. It's about time.
If Manny will fight anyone then why not a ranked welterweight? Why has it been like 5 years since he's fought a true welter that's ranked? Why does Manny for the most part always fight guys coming off horrible losses? Floyd fights Champions and guys coming off impressive wins. Manny gets KO'd and fights a career lightweight coming off a loss in his welter debut lmao! Manny da best doe! Pac's resume since coming up from 130lbs is ****! Morales beat Manny when he was still good... Manny only beat him after he came back from just losing to Raheem lol! Look at both Floyd and Manny's last fights and see who fought a credible opponent lol! Floyd was and will always be the best of his generation... Floyd didn't need a special shake as Pac's own trainer likes to call them.

            Floyd: Ortiz, Guerrero ,Canelo.
            Manny : Bradley ,Marquez, Rios..
Seems pretty square to me. Who knows what Canelo ends up being but Guerrero and Ortiz are no hall of famers that's for sure.
Bradley and Marquez are both quality opponents. Rios not so much.

You are a special kind of ****** aren't you!? I'm talking about how they pertain to being ranked at Welterweight or for Canelo Super Welterweight when either Pac or Floyd fought them! Floyd fought RANKED opponents while Pac did not! Ortiz had the WBC belt, Guerrero was the WBC #1 contender and interim belt holder, and Canelo was the WBC and WBA SWW champ. Bradley had no belts at the weight they fought at, Marquez either, and Rios LMFAO was a career lightweight that had 2 fights at JWW which he lost his previous one and was making his WW debut coming off a loss! And FYI Floyd has fought more past/current/future champs than Manny.

Lol. It's boxing so of course he will get hit. I just think that due to all the variables i listed previously, Manny gets hit a lot more while missing most of his shots. The same reason i picked Garcia to beat Matthysse is the same reason Floyd beats Manny. One fighter has multiple ways to win a fight and the other is a one trick pony. Manny's one trick is damn good against a certain level of fighter and it's not either go into a shell or stand toe to toe. There's also setting traps, using the ring and being in distance to punch but not in distance to be punched which Mayweather is a master at.

Do you think if Floyd fought Morales now since he'll be a sure HOF'er that it's a good win? Do you think guys beating the shell of RJJ is a solid win? They would be beating HOF'ers so by your logic those would be amazing wins... now you should understand why they also have to be relevant, ranked, and coming off wins to be an actual legit win right?
