On the topic of boxing: You'll forgive me if I don't spring a woody about a guy who was dominated by Zab Judah. Zab Friggin' Judah. And another guy who was wholly non-competitive in his opportunity against Mayweather(a smaller man who he promised to muscle and hurt). Yawn.

I guess I'm one of the few non-fans of those fights.

I'll give them their credit as far as heart and desire goes, but the fights were not entertaining to me. Two guys standing toe-to-toe and pounding each other's brains in is not boxing, to me, it's just fighting. I watch boxing to see two guys box, not to see two guys brawl.

It was boxing to me. Especially seeing Gatti implement some of the McGirt defensive tactics.

THAT was boxing.

The ups and downs of this trilogy was insane and for the fact that these two fighters didn't hate one another. It was truly for the fans.

How can you not appreciate that. Ward at one time had double vision as a result of these wars.

I hate it when people say that ****. Just cause they arn't sugar ray leanord doesn't mean it isn't boxing.


They have skill, boxing ability, tecknique all that ****. Nobody in a brawl throws punches that crisp.
