If you're reading into it that I'm using "slugger" as a derogatory term or to say he's crude or something you're wrong. I'm saying slugger as in an aggressive puncher. Which he 100% is. That doesn't mean anything to do with how good he is to clarify for you. HBO wants an aggressive white guy who can punch to market. Is this a new thing? Am I gettin "uppity" by stating the obvious?
A good aggressive white puncher will always have a big fanbase for American TV. They have one and they think he'll beat Stevenson and they have a huge hard on to get their guy in with Stevenson because they know they have a bigger commodity in him than Stevenson. Is what it is.
