HBO's hard on for an EE slugger to fight Stevenson is the biggest TV channel hard on for a fight I may have ever seen.

He'll go after the winner of Bute-Pascal - that would be huge in quebec no doubt.
Then probably choose a less good opponent and then cash out vs Kovalev, who he'll definitely lose to.

It all depends on the outcome of Pascal VS Bute they allready have a revenge clause ... If the fight is a close call, bet your money on a Pascal VS Bute II.

I think Pascal's capable of beating both Stevenson and Kovalev. He's gone somewhat underrated because of the Hopkins fights.

Watch him make this post look really bad by losing to Bute now.

This could happen ! I'm from Montreal and I honestly prefer Bute and fell that Pascal only fights the first 6 rounds ... Still a good matchup to see. But Pascal will beat, a still fragile, Bute and we won't need to see a rematch in that case. Will it be Stevenson ? If so Pascal is also done ...

Interesting, Stevenson has been ko'd in the pros and Kovalev in the amatuers. Everybody is saying how they want to see what Stevenson will do when Kovalev lands but it should go both ways.

Too much reach arounds and circling around. Kobalev is the top contender, what does it take for the champ to fight the top contender? It will probably be fonfora, then pascal-bute winner and then maybe kovalev. That would be 4 str8 fights that he doesn't fight a top 5 LHW let alone the top contender. Why exactly is it so hard to fight kovalev? Because he's that good?

Very smart of him to dangle the Kovalev fight in front of HBO to get a better deal.

I don't like either guy but when there's a fight like that on the table my personal views don't really matter. It will be a great fight and event and I believe we'll see it this year.
