I just hope Maidana doesn't get robbed or also exercises a rematch clause in his contract. Just seems suspect
maidana doesnt want to fight thruman. he said as much. mathysse is rebuilding and hes not fghting at 147. and neither is garcia for that matter. garcia could have had a floyd fight if he wanted it, so if floyd cant make hum move up u telling me maidana will? does broner deserve a rematch? no. but is it a bad fight? absolutely not. still one of the best fights that can be made at ww.

It's absolutely disgusting how they're trying to force Maidana into a rematch he's not obliged to accept.
Maidana and have both said there was a rematch clause. maidana's issue is the clause wasnt "immediate". that seems to be where the confusion is coming from. with that said, if the clause was there, it was there. thats how contracts work. if he didnt like it, he shouldnt have signed it.

Why do people have an issue with the rematch? I thought people said they wanted competitive match ups? Or they want nice fights? If Maidana turn a rematch down I wouldn't blame him but if this would be his best payday why not?

Its a very clear strategy by Goldenboy to make Khan the only option on the table for Floyd.

It has nothing to do with Broners interests, it has nothing to do with Maidana's interests. Its whats in Floyds interest.

Funny that, since in an interview last 2 weeks Mayweather himself advice Broner to forget a rematch and go to 140. But yeah it's to protect Mayweather from Maidana lol.

I think Maidana was a mandatory and he didn't have a rematch clause against Khan. Seems Broner had one since he was only a voluntary defence.

Everything is an elaborate ruse concocted by Mayweather in order to avoid a fight.

He may have been trying to take the heat off Broner in case he decided he didn't want a rematch right away so it doesn't look like he turned it down.
