Sounds like a money grab by Guerrero and his lawyer
Seems like they purposefully signed what they believed to be a contract with illegal terms with intentions to collect the maywesther money and then void their contract after wards
If it violated the Ali terms, why did the sign it and accept those terms?

If they knew they were signing something illegal, then why did they sign it?

None of that really justifies the move hs i trying to make. He is not trying to make money off of it, it just seems like an excuse to leave GB. Why did they wait so long to come out with this? Shouldn't have his lawyer noticed at the time the extension was being worked on?
Here's what I think... For whatever reason, Guerrero wants out of his contract. His team sat down and looked at what they could use to be able to do so legally and found this. Maybe he felt used as a stepping stone or sees how everyone at GB tailor to Floyd and his happiness... The reason behind might never be disclosed but it is definitely not about this violation they speak of.

you guys have to realize just how naive fighters are. it's no surprise that many of them go broke. many of them don't understand anything other than fighting and training. they need the protection of athletic comissions.
Take the time to actually read the Ali act, it looks like a middle school kid wrote it. It's why it's rarely used against promoters in the courtroom.
If the ghost pulls this off, it will set a new problem in the sport, that would cause all kinds of hell for promoters and networks. If fighters can just break contracts, I cant even imagine the consequences of that.
I worked in the business, I watched the Ali broke with almost every deal I've ever seen.

are there really people here trying to hype a pac-guerrero matchup? i see a lot of floyd fanboys biitching about that already.
pac-ghost is a mismatch. guerrero has gone slower and less mobile at welterweight and he doesn't have the power to really bother pac. pac is too fast for him. against floyd, he was the one trying to lead and putting the pressure...he can't do that against pac. he'll get lit up. his best move is fight from outside but he's less agile now than when he was at 130.

If you so confident that Guerrerro beats Rios than I dare you to make a poll on it
