Guerrero is bugging. He got the biggest fight of his career with Golden Boy. Why would they be mad? I feel it was because he didn't get the Broner fight. Thurman a good but dangerous fight. Guerrero is in it for the big pay day. Plenty of good fights at 147 from Golden Boy stable.

I agree. Ghost watched Maidana beat Broner up and said that should be me. He's wanted a piece of Broner for a while now. Instead, GB wanted him to fight Thurman which is a fight he would likely lose. Ghost probably feels like they're trying to turn him into a stepping stone fighter rather than a champion.

It's Ghost's fault though. He should've gotten back in the ring in September and maybe he would've secured a shot at Alexander or Broner in December.

If you so confident that Guerrerro beats Rios than I dare you to make a poll on it
GHOST has the volume, and size advantage over Rios as well as skills advantage. Rios couldnt even take a punch from Mike. Rios is a short, slow, weak, poorman's version of Ghost. And Rios doesnt even know how to fight. Ghost had some tough fights at the lower weights with better competition than Rios ever had. The thing is, at ww Ghost is big as hell, and will literally WALK THROUGH Rios who has no power at all. His power has never been tested against elite fighter. Ghost can actually crack at ww, and was dropping Berto with single shots. I dont know how to make a poll, but if I did everyone will say Ghost would dominate easy af. But if people disagreed, it wouldnt matter because I think for myself anyway. The very best ww's, will have a tough time with Ghost. Too big and smart. Now lets not talk about Rios. He probably would have a competitive war with Berto

I hope Guerrero moves on and gets a big fight with Pacman. That fight will be way more exciting than any fight Floyd will be in, that's a fact!!!

Top Rank, Golden Boy, heck even SMS or Banner Promotions I don't care who he fights under as long as he fights. Fight a taxi driver for all I care, Robert needs to stay active. Robert's already lost 2+ years of his prime due to surgery, wife's cancer, and basically sitting on his thumbs. That's 2 years of making either no money or sparring partner cash while all the time bills mount up. When the time comes I want this guy to quit with his health and money in the bank. Starting a pissing war between your camp and your promoter for the promise of another big fight isn't worth it in the long run and may hurt your position at the bargaining table.

This is the result of having to express too much gratitude when they give you the Money fight. You have to worship the queen for bestowing you a great favor. When in reality they needed the Ghost just as much as Ghost needed the Money.

What a mess Money Mayweather did to the sport. HBO vs SHO, TR vs GBP, now the Ghost vs Golden Balls.

I'll be interested to see how this plays out.

As yet we have little more than the sketchiest legal details but I have to suppose there's a little more to it than we're hearing. Guerrero and his lawyers must know the risks they are taking (at least I hope Guerrero does). My knowledge of contractual law is pretty basic, but it seems to me there has to be more to this which will only come out in time.

I oughtta read up on the Ali Law anyways and I guess now's as good a time as any.

Juan Diaz and Robert Guerrero want to be baby'ed by Top Rank. They want easy fights. They were both unhappy with GBP despite them getting big fights under the company. I guess some fighters prefer to fight journeymen.
