      are you just trolling??

top rank and goldenboy made it clear they will not work together!!

It would be illegal for Bob arum to negotiate with them cuz he is not their promoter!!

if you knew anything about boxing you would know that!!

so the negotiation proof you are asking for is not going to happen!!

Thats interesting logic. When putting together this fight you feel floyd can only ask manny for the same things he asked for in 09, if he asks for anything different its a problem.
yes and no, i can't speak for the rest of the boxing world. but hey, most articles i read lately blames floyd's new duck move so

        • He should not renew his contract. If he does, it will be one of the worst business decisions he makes.

Your choice of reading material is suspect.

I just find it interesting that floyd can't use his powerto try to get what he wants but you don't seem to mind when manny did it for the same reasons.

You seem to be hinting that this is all about power and control. we agree. If you don't want Manny/Bob to cede power and control to floyd/Al thats fine.

The problem is Manny had a very fair offer which he says he turned down because he didn't want to have to take tests he said "weakend" him. OK, that was his call and for a while it worked out in his favor.

But the situation is fluid. Subsequently, manny got KO'd in a fight that he only took because cotto refused another CW. Floyd fught twice for the 1st time in a long time-and had a fight that did well over 2 mil ppv's. So he now has significantly more negotiating leverage.

I can agree floyd is using his power and control only to benefit himself and not all fans. But manny did the same thing. SO how about we blame both and find a way to make the fight happen.
Go back and look at my posts and you 'll see that I have blamed both. My point of emphasis is that there seem to be more roadblocks coming from Lil Floyd every time the prospect of making the fight is looking promising. So you actually want Floyd to take a bit of blame as well. That's newsflash to me or 'cos your post would suggest otherwise unless I 've missed some where u stated that.

Well Twako, the point is that you feel Floyd is wrong for wanting Manny to leave TR to fight him, but Shane and Marquez had to leave GBP to fight Manny. Bob Arum is the roadblock, not Floyd, and maybe not even Manny, although if he didn't sign an extension with TR, he could be fighting Floyd this May! Mayweather is the cash cow so he's gonna dictate the terms. If Manny wants to dictate the terms, he can fight Bradley again or Ruslan, but he won't make the dollars like Money Mayweather. If you don't think Arum is the roadblock, read here:

floyd couldve easily made a better offer that could make things easier. He couldve done this for the good of the sport and the fans but he chose not to.

I just feel since manny turned down 50/50 over the ped testing and then the cutoff that he tried to use his leverage and since it didn't work out he is gonna have to take what he gets.

exactly!! so negotiation never happen with them until they were signed onto top rank first. with manny and floyd, they were both in negotiation even agreed upon the demands and ost was the ONLY issue. after manny agree to that then floyd comes out with u need to leave arum first. so please tell me how is this the same as what jmm, shane and tim had to do??? my whole point when i was debating with dunn is that the situation is NOT the same then u quoted me with ur smart ass reply only to go nowhere with it.
