Then when Manny gets away from Top Rank, Floyd will come up with another reason... Or probably reuse one of his previous reasons. (Sigh) What were his reasons before?

- Fight date (May vs June)
- No need for Manny. Manny won't contribute to his legacy.
- Manny got K.O.ed
- Rios was a bum
- Top Rank / Bob Arum

The real reason why Floyd avoids Manny is because the Southpaw stance has always been a problem for the Philly Shell defense because of the the LEFT STRAIGHT. The Philly Shell can't simply get away from the left straight or jab if it is delivered with much speed and power. Imagine if Pacquiao was Cotto. How much damage could Floyd have received in that fight.

I've learned to pretty much brush off any news of this potential fight until I see something confirmed. I'm still taking the stand that we won't ever see this fight until both guys are irrelevant. That's IF we ever see it.
