Just rematch the fights with Khan,Ortiz,Cayo,Devon, he is much wilder than he is now.

Khan was much better in 2010 under Roach and most importantly Ariza, since then Khan's legs have looked like twigs and he can't hold a shot again, his already poor punch resistance has gotten worse. maidana at 147 beats Khan. I'm convinced about it.
I think Maidana was a beast at 140, fit and strong. He has issues against welterweights like Alexander where he mentioned something about his weight and he didn't feel he carried the extra weight just as good.

He was so fit and strong at 140 imo. Just an observation. I would rather like Khan to meet the current Maidana than the one he actually met. But it would be a smashing rematch for sure. Recent form, Maidana takes it. But you never know.

Maidana hasn't beaten a PROVEN elite fighter no, but he came close to beating Kotelnik who was pretty good. And he beat Broner who was thought to be elite by some, but quite clearly isn't. At WW at least.
Key point, Broner never was elite, I know, I know, I predicted him to beat Maidana but I also said that Maidana has the power and activity to trouble Broner and that, after the Paulie fight, i thought Broners reflexes were far too slow to pull off the shoulder role defence.

Ye, kotelnik was a good fighter, Khan schooled him. I keep mentioning khan but when ever you get into a maidana thread, its difficult to not mention kahn, who kd maidana, beat kotelnik, thrashed judah who gave garcia a tough fight. for his style and speed, he makes a better fight with floyd. unless Hunter has gotten in too deep and Khan over thinks, like he did vs Diaz.

His fight against Devon was his first moving up and since then he hasnt had nor mentioned any issues with his physique/conditioning. Its clear now he is comfy at welter.

He was a beast at 140, no doubt, but he wasn't being trainer correctly with tactics and has admitted this. All his coaches used to train him on was go for the KO,overhand right.

Garcia really has sharped him up in a lot of areas. His 2 Kd's of Broner were smart attacks that we wasn't doing vs Khan in 2010 (body to head, Broner thought a body attack was coming but **** left to the head), Khan wont know if he is going for a jab, going downstairs, going to throw 3 or 4 punches. In 2010 Khan's main worry was don't get caught with the overhand right and don;t get caught on the ropes.

Chino is an inside fighter with no footwork and weak defense.he has no business with floyd nor Thurman,García...Even Alexander schooled him.

Bring him some Mathysse.provo type guys And they ll give us a war, figuring out he GOT a chance against some A real boxers is delusional.
He certainly is not the frontrunner to fight Mayweather next. He is not in the running at all. There is only one boxer that will fight Mayweather in May and it was decided by the people in charge many weeks ago. Unless he has an injury in training camp Khan will definitely absolutely be fighting Mayweather in May. Broner was the fighter who was badly overrated. Maidana is a tough, game, hard hitting SOB.

he has no chance against Floyd but pretty much no one his size does. I dont like how people keep bringing up Alexander like no one can improve. It was his 1st fight at a different weight. He's a much better fighter then the one Alexander beat

I don't think Maidana is overrated, I think he has really improved though, especially his jab. But one thing his sure: Broner was waaaay overrated.

This idea that he's "improved" just because he's fought a string of opponents with favourable styles is quite annoying.

Ohhh so now cause maidana beat broner it was a "favorable style" lol but before the fight actually took place maidana was made to order for broner and broner was supposed to "floyd/gatti" maidana.

If anything people are UNDERRATING maidana because almost everytime the dude is a big underdog he steps up to the plate and wins.

Admittedly I thought Broner would win because I thought he was capable of moving. However, that fight showed that he really is just flatfooted. He stood right in front of Maidana. Give Maidana some movement and he's back to the same fighter he always was.
