Maidana is so predictable. Am I the only one who sees this?

I swear fanboy-ism dominates Pacquaio-Mayweather threads; perhaps i would be wise to steer clear.
In fairness to Maidana, he can be pretty exciting when he fights a guy who wants to fight him back.

But we've seen what happens when he fights a boxer. Even against Khan, who he had on ***** street in the last couple of rounds, he was punching air the first 6-7 rounds.

What is he going to do against Mayweather?

The hell is that supposed to mean? My own knowledge, wtf is that? You are on a boxing forum, members will know things that aren't on Boxrec. I have known about those KD's for about 4 years now, actually some one posted them on ESB back when I used to post there. That's how I found out about them. Noow, to my knowledge, Khan has been knocked down by Drizlane, Gomez and Limond.

WTF does it matter where I found out these KD's happened? What does that have to do with them actually happening? They are fabricated like you creating a KD for Lopez over Maidana.

        Perhaps.

I don't think it's too far off to think the same about Mayweather-Khan, though.

Maidana's predictable. But as is Khan.

All 3 of those are better than Diaz and done more in recent years than Diaz has.

All 3 of those wins for Maidana are better than anything Khans' done in years and the reason why he's relevant at the moment as opposed to Khan who isn't.
What makes Diaz worse than Karass? What has Karass ever done that's compared to what Diaz has done?

He was 2-5 in his last 7 and Diaz came off what should have been a victory against Porter. Why does this not get mentioned? Diaz is a good fighter. His skills are miles ahead of Karass' - I feel like i'm the only one noticing this!

The general debate in this thread seems to be: which opponent would be more competitive, Khan or Maidana?

In my opinion, it's Khan. It's marginal, sure; but Khan would take a few rounds to figure out.

Mayweather would figure Maidana out before the first bell.

He beat Aydin and Berto, two solid WW's.

The best thing Diaz has done in years is draw with Porter, whilst a decent performance, it's not great. Like I said in the other thread that was more down to Porter IMO.

Then let's say for arguments sake that Karass and Diaz are the same (I don't think they are but let's say they are) Maidana still has Broner and Lopez whilst Khan has Molina and back to back loss's to Garcia and Peterson.

And Diaz definitely isn't a good fighter IMO.

Atleast Maidana performed well against Karass as opposed to Khan who performed badly.

So is excitement out the equation now then?

It's hard to say who'd be more competitive.

Khan's shown nothing in years to suggest he'd be competitive with Mayweather. The guy isn't even on form.

he beat those two after he lost to Maidana. If Diaz goes on to beat Paulie Malignaggi, will it turn Diaz into a good win? Or a better win? Not in my book.

Sure, Khan obviously didn't fight as many fights as Maidana did, and I think the excuse about Porter in the first Diaz fight is a poor one.

And Khan really beat Peterson. But that's another discussion.

That is true, doesn't really change the fact that Khan has performed better in his career at top level than Maidana has. And I don't see what Maidana could possibly do to upset Mayweather. So I don't need to watch it.

I think Khan can cause a few problems, which is why I want to see that fight over a Maidana fight.

The only thing exciting about this fight is Khan will surely get rocked and possibly dropped or stopped. I honestly feel Khan has not improved if anything his offense is far worse and still gets hit very clean.
