I'm 100% sure he would try for that and everyone would pretend it's a huge risk and one of the greatest wins ever.

Mayweather? 160? Not in this lifetime. Absolutely impossible for him to make the weight....have to be at a catchweight.

mayweather's very comfortable at 147 he doesnt cut that much weight.

i doesnt make sence for him to go up 15 pounds to fight someone who for his whole career has fought at 154 and 147

That's the reason he would do this if Cotto won. It'd be Mayweather fighting a welterweight at middleweight. He'd never get a better chance to cherry pick a middleweight championship.

Nope, Cotto is working with TR now and when he wins the MW title, Floyd would have to negotiate with TR and Arum. Something he has vowed he wouldn't do. And he never goes back on what he say

No way. He'll be fighting for a little bit longer. You missed the lawsuit he lost where he's gotta cough up crazy millions? I think it's like $8 million or something.

                    Nope.

Cotto is an independent fighter. He works with Promoters on a fight by fight basis. So his next fight could be with Golden Boy if he wants. Like if he wins against Martinez, he can still go fight Canelo through Golden Boy. Or maybe even Floyd Mayweather as the thread starter asks.

Cotto smartened up as a businessman, he is no fool this time around.

That's the same face (avi) she put when she first saw my chorizo. The only difference is she was naked and drooling.
