Ok so if you get knocked out by a guy who does not have one shot KO power the you have a good chin?Kelly Pavlick, George Forman, mike Tyson, Stevenson,GGG, that's one shot KO power. Even Chavez Jr is a better puncher then Martinez. Margarito is a bigger puncher and he couldn't KO Cotto with plaster wraps (allegedly). In all Paul Williams fights his chin had never really been tested, the moment he got hit clean he was out.

Since Cotto won his first belt there has been no fight other then Mayweather, that Cotto wasn't the A side. He is arguably the 3rd largest draw in boxing, made $3 mil for his last fight and was the highest rated network boxing event of the year, against a nobody. Sergio's first time on ppv was against Chavez, in which many consider him a much more popular fighter then Sergio. These type of negotiations have been going on for years, we don't hear about 'em because if you want to fight the big names, you gotta deal with the big names. The fact that Sergio is acting like a lil b!tch, proves that he has never been in this type of event, nor the level of opponent. This fight might be to big for Sergio, this is an advantage for Cotto. If Sergio is overwhelmed by the stage, we could very well see Cotto with a big win. When have you ever heard of anyone having issues negotiating with Cotto?
LOL. Jesus, these guys are more delusional than I thought.

And a man that would get him about, maybe $5-6million dollars less.

The negotiations were led by Arum which is why Cotto had no choice. All Cotto ever said was he felt tired and slow because of the weight, but he never once complained. Unless you've spoken to him one on one, because that has never been publicized.
what do you mean where do I get my information from, that was a big topic back when they were going to fight, negotiationg the fight,,cotto was offered the rematch again and once again he refused for another catchweight at 150 pounds instead of 154,cotto was against the catchweight the first fight and rejected it for the rematch too...there are articles about that, him talking about it

I'm surprised more aren't pointing to Sergio's obvious down slide?

I think he is ripe to be beaten and Cotto could be the guy to do it. Cotto has very good confidence right now and it seems like him and Roach might have a good thing going.

Martinez has knee issues. Knees are a big deal. Especially if you like to stick and move, this is a very interesting fight. I feel Cotto might appear small here (even though Martinez isn't a huge middleweight and has always appeared willing to drop down to get Floyd or Pacquiao) but Miguel looks like a rising tide right now, where Martinez looks to be somewhat the opposite.

Some might hate to admit but the 12th round of Martinez vs. Chavez Jr. probably did more damage to Sergio that all of the last half decade of fights combined due to the knee injuries as well as the major bops he took.

Arum wanted the fight to happen badly, so the WBC made pac Cottos mandatory, so if Cotto didn't fight PAC he would be stripped of the belt. And the WBC would have PAC fight some one else for the vacant title. PAC would not fight Cotto over 145 lbs, so Cotto had no choice but to fight or vacate the belt. Just because he agreed to a catch weight doesn't mean he was the B-side, remember Mayweather agreed to a catch weight against Marquez. I guess it would be more accurate to say at the time of their fight they were both considered A-side fighters (Cotto-PAC)
Where do I start with this ******ed post.

                  1. It wasn't for the WBC, it was for the WBO title.
                  2. It was not 50-50 split. It was 65-35 in favor of Pacquiao.

Stop posting, first read up on what you are going to post about and stop completely fabricating events that just never happened. How can you just sit there and type those lies, that is what you call a pathological liar.

What's delusional? At the time Cotto was probably the most popular boxer. He already held the record for most money earned at MSG with multiple sell outs. And he had already been on ppv twice by that time. Shane Mosley and zab Judah (though I could be wrong about Judah). Cotto was also a silver medalist at the Olympics, and was one of the highest paid amateurs to sign with a promotional company at the time. His popularity far exceeded PAC's by virtue of all this. Pac was not considered a big name till he began to move up while Cotto was considered a star since he was amateur. I think your mistaken me for a Cotto fan. I am a boxing fan and I give credit where credit is due.
