People who are asking for Maidana are the same people who will come on after the fight saying well that was a mismatch and complain. Fans never learn and jump on bandwagons after a convicing win but forget the past. Maidana-Floyd is a 12-0 UD for floyd. Khan-Floyd is a much more interesting clash of styles that us fans haven't seen, the fight that will be alot closer than people think. Lets be real here, Khan will put his heart and soul in trying to win the fight like he always does, he won't come in just for the pay cheque like the others because he's already worth 25m. He will be in training for 9 months come May 3rd, whether he deserves it or not, money talks and you will all be watching it. It will do 1m in the US easily because khan is very marketable fighter. In UK with the hype they will put into it the numbers will be very strong. It's a no brainer for Floyd, the hardcore boxing fans may not want to see it but lets be honest neither do we want to see Maidana plod his way to a boring typical mayweather UD loss, like all the other flat footed power punchers that came before him.

They will greatly regret choosing Khan if they do. There is no way possible that you can spin that into a fight the public wants to see. Khan is an undeserving twat that American fight fans have zero interest in seeing.

He was on SKY box office which is PPV in UK before winning a world title so wat does that mean?

People wanna kid themselves and think Maidana would Castillio Floyd like their first fite but yeh keep dreaming. Cotto couldnt wobble Floyd whose more skilled so yeh. Judah was beating floyd and even scored a knockdown as the glove touched the canvas but Judah fades as usual.
You seem as deluded as Khan you poor man.
Listen kid let me tell you how it is.
We English people have been through this bollocks all before with Bruno , just for the media craving for a heavyweight champ. Frank didn't deserve most ,if not all of his shots!
Khan is different he has been thrown down our throats for all the wrong reasons and only a few casual fans and of course his deluded Pakistani followers have any time for him.We could go on but ,hey enough.
It's about time Khan actually did or at lease said something that actually makes ANY sense.
Be careful my friend it seems your'e about to be mugged!

Maidana when asked who he wants to fights next he usually says "offers, offers, what ever good offers of a fight". Which means he will fight anybody for the best offer.

The answer is obvious but almost everyone still pulls for slow Maidana. The mind boggles.
Because people don't like Khan, and he's undeserving. Khan could possibly win more rounds, that's even debatable, but there isn't a shot in hell he could win the fight. Maidana has power and although it would be slim, at least he at any moment could change the fight outcome and also EARNED the fight.

Khan is complete trash and is not a world class fighter, who also has completely regressed over the years. People that think Khan has any chance of really winning any substance of rounds is beyond me. What, his pitty pat punches and his garbage footwork is going to steal one round compared to Maidanas zero rounds? I will gladly take the guy that has a slight punchers chance over the cry baby Khans. Let Keith Thurman knock the ****** out instead.

I have to agree, Khan is worth way more money to Mayweather than Maidana. As mentioned previously, look at social media... Khan has 1.4mil followers on twitter and Maidana has just 70k, lol - I think we know who's the bigger draw.

I don't think Khan deserves this fight but he's probably the next best option for Mayweather after Pacquiao (and thats never gonna happen), especially for excitement - he's never in a dull fight.

I think Danny Garcia is the most worthy opponent but he doesn't seem to want the fight and I think Garcia and Maidana will just end up like Canelo and Cotto - the fight will be boring and Mayweather will just school them.

Do people forget Khan dominated Maidana? He was also schooling Garcia until the Knock down, his weakness his not his chin it's his carelessness, he rushes in and fights with his heart too much, which often leads to clean shots that would in fact knock most fighters down - Virgil has been brought in to correct that aspect of his fighting, time will tell whether or not he can change.

As for comparing a young Judah to Khan for hands peed, there is no comparison - even Freddie Roach admitted Khans handspeed is quicker than anyone hes worked with (maybe not as explosive as Pacquaio), I also watched a post fight video where Danny Garcia admits Khans hand speed is incredible.

Khan would be the most entertaining fight. Floyd would stay on the outside and just pick Maidana off much like he did Guerrero earlier this year. Maidana won't find Mayweather with any of the big shots he got Broner with.
Plus in my opinion Golden Boy promised Khan a Floyd fight a long time ago, may even be the thing that got him to sign with Golden Boy instead of Top Rank like most other Roach trained fighters at the time.

We didn't forget, we just saw something different. Khan may have dominated for good stretches against Maidana but he was hurt late and was lucky to escape with a close decision. Khan didn't school Garcia at all, I don't know what fight you were watching. Winning a round doesn't equate to a "schooling." The rounds were competitive (all two of them) and Garcia was in control in the third before he put Khan on his ass.

Khan just flat out doesn't deserve this fight. It's a tuneup that shouldn't be on PPV. I'm still holding out hope that it's anyone but him.

It's sad when you got the supposed "p4p and atg" hard pressed in choosing to fight either Maidana or Khan. I'm telling you, Floyd is the best in fooling the American public.

Funnier that Floydiots are in a panic they will soon be forced to pay for a fight not even closely competitive, lawlllll.......

Khan is so desperate to fight (i mean get KOd) against Floyd or Manny and retire "loosing against the best". But the truth is he knows he would get KOd against any other welter.
