Only reason Diaz was even in the fight was he managed to hurt Khan in R4, he was 3-0 down until that point.
Khan brings nothing to the table other than has fanbase. His pitty-pat punches will get him nowhere with Floyd and what do you think is going to happen once Floyd's pull-counter starts landing on that glass chin?

El Chino, although slow, has gotten better with timing his punches. He hits like a mule and fights his heart out every time out. Not to mention, EL Chino deserves it, Khan does not.

Let me clear it up for Maidana. He deserves the fight more but they decided on Khan many weeks ago. Maybe another good win and Maidana gets to fight Mayweather in September.

They're not pitty-pat, but don't take my word for it:

On Chino, I think he's too slow and Mayweather too smart.

Mayweather VS Amir Khunt is such a shit fight, even a die-hard Flomo such as myself can't support this garbage. The Maidana fight isn't an ideal match, but it's hell of a lot better than Floyd fighting a glass chinned front runner who was brutalized by Garcia not too long ago. At least Maidana has strung some very good wins at welter weight and is coming off an impressive victory over lil' bro. He's got too things that Con doesn't have; a granite chin and a puncher's chance. Yes, he looked like crap against Alexander, but he's improved tremendously under Robert Garcia's tutelage.

Yeah Maidana is more deserving but Khan would be a more interesting fight.

It Would Be Just Like Floyd Junior To Pick Khan-Job; Maidana Too Dangerous!

Khan has done nothing, beaten nobody credible, AND looked horrible in the ring; how does he warrant a title shot with Floyd??? Pacquiao, Bradley, Provodnikov, Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, Thurman ALL deserve a shot before Khan-Job! Even guys like Matthysee, Alvarado, Rios, Alexander, Boner, Soto-Karass, guys recently defeated, deserve a shot BEFORE Khan-Job!!! Mayweather really shows the puzzy if he chooses Khan-Job before ANY if these guys. What a weasel. Just as well choose Vinnie Pazienza; he's 52 years old but draws a big crowd.
