Well, put all that eCash where your eMouth is at!!!God no it isn't competitive. Cotto can't fight southpaws, he is small even for 154, Martinez is bigger, faster, punches harder and is more athletic. Cotto has no good wins for years and his claim to fame is basically giving little Floyd a bloody nose. The fact is this is a showcase fight for Sergio and its obvious as hell. Cotto is shot. Having yet another trainer and beating a nobody does not make him any less shot regardless of the confidence boost it gave him. Martinez can drop him with either hand and has taken shots from far bigger men. Plus he hides his body well. I'm a Cotto fan but I'm betting all my points that Cotto not only loses but gets stopped. Once its signed pm me if you want it. Its a terrible mismatch.
Lets do this!Comment

If I was paid my points by Larry, I'd have enough to cover all of your points w/ odds. But he never paid, so I'll keep saving up until April.
Can't wait for the fight!!Comment

Its boxing and at the end of the day anything can happen but I'd agree, Cotto is a smaller guy, going against a bigger, stronger, faster champion that so happens to box better as if Cotto didnt have enough problems. Why?
I mean for one thing Cotto is going to be way too small, Martinez is a natural middleweight, Cotto is small at jr middle.
And this isn't a scenario where Cotto is going to be smaller and more agile. Martinez is faster, has better balance and movement, hit's harder, has better punch resistance.
In my mind, this fight is a mismatch and I don't know why Cotto is taking it.
Sure Martinez is a bit older now, but that's not going to be nearly enough for Cotto to win. He will be outboxed bad for 3-4 rounds and I see Martinez taking him out somewhere around the 5th or 6th
Prime Martinez would hurt Cotto bad, I mean worried for his health kind of beating. Then again Martinez injuries may be worse than we think and Cotto may be very inspired or pumped with drugs that day and pull it off, who knows? But if Martinez is recovered for this fight, even at his age he should dominate Cotto all night long.
Keep in mind that Martinez is very athletic in spite of his age.Comment
Must have been someone else. Keep your points handy. When it's announced and official, you and Bushbaby are 1A and 1B on my list of bets to be made.
