The only reason kovalev hasnt been tested is cause nobodys been able to last more than 3 rounds with him lol. Id probably bet on kovalev against anybody not named hopkins. And only cause hopkins is known for pulling the upset.

Im all for Pascal but im not liking his tune on this one. If he isnt tested well he does a major belt and ur better off getting one off of him than fiting your boy Stevenson, Shumenov whose also "untested" and Hopkins (again)

Well if all the guys that he supposedly has to beat in order to be "tested" and up to standard were willing to fight him, I'm sure Kovalev would gladly answer all your questions. Fighters that don't wana get in the ring with a certain opponent always try to discredit and make the fighter that they are trying to duck not look good enough. This is just your typical ducking strategy set in motion ahead of time in case he is offered a fight with Kovalev.

What is it with these new posters dissing proven fighters?

Pascal knows what he is talking about considering he fought Froch, Dawson, Diaconu 2x, Hopkins 2x and is about to fight Bute. He is the same age as Kovalev and a lot younger than Stevenson and has a better resume than both but does not get the hype.

Hopkins was pushing for this fight. HBO refused both Hopkins-Stevenson and Hopkins-Kovalev.

HBO rejected Hopkina-Kovalev? I think you should recheck your facts and stop spreading lies.

Hopkins promoter and network both rejected Kovalev-Hopkins and actually said Karo Murat was more well known as the reasoning.
