i'd happily pay $70 for chino. he doesn't have a prayer, but he'll make for a nice contrast in style if he shows up in shape and commits to coming forward for 12 rounds. robert garcia will lay out the most realistic gameplan, and give him the best chance of landing the big punch [i'd guess it would be a left hook high on the head.] mayweather is going to have a very easy time rolling chino's right hand. he follows you around, and doesn't throw it straight.
for me, mayweather fights are what they are. i've grown accustomed to paying $70 for a mismatch. i paid a hell of a lot more to get to vegas for the canelo fight. i just try and appreciate how good he is. especially at 147, he is not losing until he really starts to fade. considering how little damage he takes, i think we have a couple more years at least.
showtime has also been doing decent with their undercards of late. that's a nice gesture for guys like ourselves, who appreciate as much good boxing as they're willing to give. they're better than TR, for sure.
your plan with danny is also agreeable with me. danny's young, and he gets better with every fight. he boxed and used the ring against matthysse. he took the gas of the best puncher in the division, and finished the fight strong. i didn't know he could do those things so well before the matthysse fight.
another guy i am looking at closely is one time thurman. he can punch, move, and he looks like a very motivated guy. i also love dan birmingham. great trainer.
