I would not complain about Floyd Khan/Maidan on regular showtime.

Stay away from 154 for real. That's where the danger is after all right? How do you feel about Mayweather-Maidana in May???
I'm kind of hoping Floyd stays at 147, enough with the 154 stuff. I don't think he looks nearly as good at JMW. I don't mind Maidana in May. It's a unification, he's become a Top 5 WW probably after beating Karass, Lopez, and Broner. I think it's a solid fight, and the best realistic option at 147 at the moment. Khan is bull though.
I'd rather see Khan fight Victor Ortiz or something, so long as Ortiz doesn't lose to Collazo. In the meantime, have Danny Garcia fight someone like Guerrero, Paulie to get his feet wet at 147 and get a decent win there. Then have Danny and Floyd fight in September.Comment

Like who, Lara??? The unbeatable Erislandy Lara who lost to Carlos Molina??? I'm kidding, I like Lara, but his hype has skyrocketed on here since beating Trout.
He's been at 154 three times, and all three times he doesn't look nearly as good at the weight. Canelo and Lara need to fight next. Plus if Lara were to beat a Canelo, if Canelo ever gives him that chance, his odds to land a fight like that skyrocket.
Why is it so hard to understand that as boxing fans we still can't realistically expect Lara on a PPV against Floyd??? I'd love to see it, but it's not a realistic option, so why waste time thinking about it???Comment

But the thing is we really can. We saw the Ghost face Floyd on ppv didn't we? Lara has had an excellent year. Lara can't fight Canelo if Canelo won't fight him.Like who, Lara??? And besides while Lara is "fighting canelo", who'll Floyd be fighting again??Comment

I mean I agree. But I would never complain about a top fight being shown on network or cable.Comment

At least the Ghost was a 5 time champion with some decent wins on his record and avenged his only defeat if I remember correctly. He was pretty solid.
Lara is virtually unknown, even to boxing fans, and a PPV would not do well.Comment
