If Lomachenko beats Salido in his 2nd pro fight, he is on a ATG/GOAT pace to start his career. Obviously that can be derailed, but ATG pace after potentially beating Salido while being 2-0 is undeniable.

Haters gonna hate. He should be getting praised for wanting to fight the best instead of being pampered by fighting 40 UPS package handlers and then being gifted a million dollar payday.

He fought a ranked fighter by the sanctioning body in his first fight, this is a legit title defense by Salido due to that. Every other fighter coming out of the amateurs has the ability to fight any ranked contenders and get themselves ranked within the sanctioning bodies, they just either A) don't have the ambition/desire to move that quickly, or B) they're promoter is unwilling/can't get it done........Lomachenko is a TWO time gold medalist in the Olympics and he told Arum he wants to get moved as quick as possible.... of course Arum is going to say yes and make the necessary moves to get it done.

What's the problem here? Now if Lomachenko fought for a title in his FIRST fight - i.e the Ramirez fight was for a title..... then there should be a problem and something isn't right. But that wasn't possible and this is indeed a legit title defense for Salido
Real talk! And people are talking about him not earning it, like fighting in trials for a decade in school gymnasiums to 20 people in Uzbekistan is comparable to professional prizefighting. I know which career path I'd rather have took if I had the talent of lomachenko.

So Am I right to assume that your saying Loma is a mandatory fight and not a voluntary?
What I'm saying is, boxing is corrupt as fk as we all know and a whole lot of blackballing goes on all the time.

Lomachenko is ranked because he beat a WBO ranked fighter. You beat a ranked fighter, you get ranked. It's as simple as that. Where's the conspiracy?

I think the question you guys should be asking is: "Should Ramirez have sold his soul to the devil and allowed a 0-0 amateur fight him and take his ranking for a payday?"

That, I don't know. But he fought him, lost and lost his ranking.

Shut up you bent ****. "Haters gonna hate" He hasn't done ****. So what he has 2 gold medals. So did Rigo and he had to hunt Donaire for years. Loma is getting a pass and it is this political **** that ruins boxing. And fanboys like you are the reason it will never change.

Can't wait till Verdejo beats the piss out of him.

He's not even that talented. If you watch his fights he is pretty limited. Verdejo is more talented.

It's not "voluntary"... It was Arum's will to set this fight. Nothing else.
