Calling him out since 2010. Do I have to explain the plural of the word Year? Do you not think Rigo would have liked a title in his second fight?

It is disrespectful to those who've been around for years trying to get a shot. I think Salido feels it more because he took some a$$ beatings to get where he is.

No, Ramirez WAS NOT ranked #5. In September he (Ramirez) was ranked #7 then in October Lomachenko was put at #2 behind Russell Jr after beating Ramirez. November and December he's been #5.

So do we like padded records or not?

If Lomachenko can beat Salido then he deserves that belt.

Fair play to him I say.

They were barely in the same weight class for a year.

Oh okay, thanks. Either way... Beating Ramirez SHOULD have gotten him ranked... And since the Salido fight is a voluntary defense and he didn't shoot up to mandatory status after beating Ramirez, does it really matter if he's #5, #8,9,10?

since it's a voluntary defense, his ranking doesn't really matter because he didn't shoot over anybody to gain mandatory status. But he SHOULD be ranked for beating Ramirez

What's worse? EArning a title shot by beating 25-40 cab drivers with losing records, or wanting to fight the TOP guys from the getgo?

Like I said, we think it's voluntary but do we know what IS really going on? Why would Salido be complaining if it's really VOLUNTARY?

Well... To be fair, that cab driver he beat was indeed ranked by the WBO. You can blame them for that. And on top of that he's not some 18 year old off the street, he has over 400 amateur fights and is one of the most successful/well known amateurs ever.

IF he beats Salido.... Wouldn't he be worthy of holding that title? If he were to win, what would have been the point of him facing 20 cab drivers if we know he's already ready for the best? Especially since the way he got the title was legit in the first place and he wasn't illegally gifted anything, matchmaking wise and then title-fight was (I.e Salido is a legit and tough MF'ing champion)
