Don't know since when Margarito-Cotto II became anything more than a Cotto getting revenge on an injured, done fighter. Wasn't a big fight to me or any serious boxing fan. Just a piece of meat thrown in for Cotto, who wanted no part of an immediate Margarito rematch after their first fight, then clinged on to the loaded gloves thing to further avoid a rematch. Most people who predicted Cotto would win was that Margarito's eye was going to get re injured and the fight would get stopped and that's exactly what happened. Just about any top 15 fighter could have done the same.

If he wants to leave all that money on the table, sure. No fight out there is worth more $$$ to Sergio than Cotto and he knows it, plus it's a winnable fight where he could be favored. Tough to turn down because your name isn't first on the fight poster.

Sure I don't agree with turning down a fight because of a name on the poster, when Mayweather fought Cotto he came in first because Cotto was the champion, the name I can't see what the big deal is as long as Cotto comes in first as the challenger.

Cotto is the big man now in negotiations, really feeling himself now. But once he sees how tiny he really is in front of Martinez in the ring and how fast and powerful Martinez is, he's gonna get on his bike and he's going to be no where near that Cotto who beat up on Delvin the gatekeeper on HBO. No idea why man, but its pretty strange. Martinez is the rightful champ. Cotto is ok but come on.
Martinez is injured and past his prime, but he has power, great skills and is the bigger guy. Sergio Martinez should deal with Cotto with ease (unless the injuries are worse than we thought) and calm down some guys here that are crawling all over Cottos balls.
