Wowww I was not aware of this . Thanks. Even so the level of compition I'm thinking was nowhere near what it was at 140 so there is a big difference . But I take ur word about being a ww

I think the weight jumps going to be fine for Danny.

He's fought at WW plenty of times and by the looks of things he struggled with the weight for Matthyyse. He and his team deny it but he didn't look good to me at the weigh in.

edit: khan maybe a few years ago could be competitive, but the boy has seemed to have lost his chin. sorry guys, if julio diaz can send khan for a ride mayweathers sharp counters will send khan crashing to the canvas like a ton of bricks

Completely agree, too bad none of those fights have much of a chance of happening anytime soon.

Almost on the verge of giving up on Mayweather-Maidana now.

and why would you wish for that? the only good thing about that matchup is it's not as worse as floyd-khan but it's still mismatch of big proportion.

are you really gonna lower your standard to favor your favorite fighter?

They know it's easy. But Maidana is credible. Just how they like it. A credible opponent.

If Floyd ever fights Maidana it would be sooner rather than later, while he still has all this hype about him. I don't know why any follower of the sport would want to see it though. Lara/Bradley are the only ones that will test him at this point but you have to count out Bradley because of his promoter. Since we are talking fantasy fights, I think Danny G outboxes Maidana, just like he did Lucas.

Not gonna lie Danny Garcia vs Marcos Maidana sounds pretty good.
Although if he's not going to take on Mayweather, I think Golden Boy will push him to a Porter unification bout. Why risk a fight between their top dogs now?

it's not a credible fight for floyd. the lack of options for floyd at 147 doesn't make that a credible fight.

It has nothing to do with who my favourite fighter is.

I think out of all the options realistically available for Mayweather for May, Maidana is the best option and certainly better than Khan.

As long as Mayweather fights the top contenders at Welterweight then I'm happy. And Maidana fits that description.
