Because Maidana is credible. That's how Floyd fans like it. They know the fight is one-sided. But Maidana is now a champ and they'd prefer that than a fight with the likes of Lara.

Sr. seems strangely adversed to that match...just as he was with Floyd-Pac.

It's not even debatable , all three judges were suspended. That dosent ever happen . But it's a fight I would love to see.
have lara fight canelo I guarantee you that will get him some recognition after he puts on a clinic against canelo. but no, boxing is all about money and having canelo get schooled again would mean another potential cash cow on hold after broner getting his ass whooped

Canelo will stay even further away from Lara than Mayweather.

Come on. They're not gonna sell us this BS fight in Mayweather-Khan. This card better be loaded again or it's gonna tank.

I think Maidana should not be Danny's 1st try at welterweight. Devon is a better choice.

You are absolutely 100% correct . By now it just seems normal for canelo to ignore Lara . It's been going on for so long now. I don't think canelo has ever even said the word Lara and it's not because he doesn't know who he is.

Ah..........it all makes sense now. Khan-Floyd in May, the winner of Garcia-Maidana vs. Floyd in September....that's why Floyd wants Canelo on the undercard in May because his opponent won't be of Hispanic descent.

Bare in mind that Danny has fought at Welterweight many times.
