Why? Pacquiao would fight May 30th and then by the time they rest up and negotiate again it would be confirmed at July the earliest which is no more or less time than there is now.

OK... They might take a July date as well; and a date in late autumn for the rematch -- because there will be a rematch clause...
... But Floyd has his habits (the September date included)...

I know people say there is very little time to promote the fight. I think they only do major city stops such as LA and NY and we will see a commercial everyday to the point you get sick and tired of it and just want the fight to happen already.

How do you figure that more promotion time means more PPV buys for this figh?

I agree that this fight is uncharted territory with casual interest, but to act like a huge promotion wouldn't help the ppv buys is kinda ridiculous. The fighters will be focused on training for 2 months, so that leaves very little time for interviews, press conference... You know things where money may can talk **** and really hype a fight.

Why would Floyd even start negotiating with Team Pac, when he damn well knows, that Bob Arum will be involved?? This is beyond ****** at this point.
