@peterfury: Let's get things right here. Tyson & his whole team have tried to make the following fights. Haye 2 times. Wilder sky ppv rejected that.

@peterfury: Stiverne WBC rejected that. Klitchko we would take at a blink. But never been offered. But we have asked them for the fight.

@peterfury: Also anyone doubting the wilder fight we have it in writing from sky sports.

No real money in Fury vs. Wilder, at least in the UK.

It'd be shown on free-to-air Channel 5. It's simply not 'big' enough to command SKY PPV.

Deontay Wilder, the next big hope of American heavyweight boxing, has verbally accepted a showdown with Tyson Fury following a Twitter campaign from the British fighter...

Fury got real quiet after that

I'm not saying Wilder is more deserving of the shot but he was willing to fight this guy.

I keep saying that if Floyd does fight Khan May 3rd then Wilder vs. Fury would be a great fight to put on the under card along with Broners comeback fight or rematch.
              Sky sports turned it down

What he really wanted to say is that the WBC is corrupt as most of us know this already.

I wonder what exactly is it is to Tyson Fury if Deontay Wider is a WBC title contender or not? If my memory serves me correctly, Tyson has said that World titles were irrelevant to him and that he only fights for money; Which was why he passed up a chance to face Kubrat Pulev for a IBF title elimination bout to challenge Wladimir Klitschko. So what is his interest in title elimination bouts and contenders all of a sudden? Could be those broken promises of fool's gold from the David Haye fight which never took place?

The only other option I see is if Floyd vs Khan does take place
Wilder vs Fury on the under card

Why is anyone surprised that Wilder is #3 they see $$$$
and that's all they care about why do you think Pac is the #1 contender at 147 after beating Rios, or that he was able to fight for the belt at 154 when he or Margarito were not even ranked at the time.
