Fury has a point, but I'm with a lot of other posters: Fury vs. Wilder for a shot at the title.

Slightly off topic but Fury's twitter feed is hilarious.

That's a fight all heavyweight fans want to see.

But will Golden Boy put Wilder in with Fury?

Wilder-Fury should be the top billing, no one gives a crap about Arreola-Stiverne. With that said, I would rather it be Fury/Stiverne and Wilder/Arreola first to be honest, then have the winners fight for the belt. Make it a four man heavyweight tournament to generate some interest back in the division. If Showtime is smart they will jump on trying to make that happen.

Deontay Wilder, the next big hope of American heavyweight boxing, has verbally accepted a showdown with Tyson Fury following a Twitter campaign from the British fighter...

Fury got real quiet after that

I'm not saying Wilder is more deserving of the shot but he was willing to fight this guy.

I keep saying that if Floyd does fight Khan May 3rd then Wilder vs. Fury would be a great fight to put on the under card along with Broners comeback fight or rematch.
The same Wilder who was scheduled to fight Chisora and then pulled out over some legal issue, then miraculously was available to spar with David Haye shortly after?

Wilder talks a good game but has one of the most padded records in all of boxing, how can someone at 30-0 still be fighting the opposition he is...? He's not beaten anybody worth mentioning and doesn't deserve to be anywhere near title contention. Just the WBC doing their usual manipulation to get the champions they want.

Stiverne vs. Arreola 2 for the belt and Fury vs. Wilder as eliminator! That would be the way to go. Wilder has beaten NO ONE i cant believe hes 3rd in the rankings.

I concur.although I would much rather have seen Wilder v Arreola and Stiverne face the winner as his first mandatory,I feel Bermane should be allowed an interim/warm up fight first and also be given the belt outright,in IMO he's earned it already.he didn't talk **** after beating Arreola regarding Vitali,he was patient,he should be entitled to 75/25 too.i think he's been treated a touch unfairly here.

I also believe Arreola wins the rematch,I had him dominating Stiverne before the knockdown.

yes do it, if they want wilder as a cash cow hes gonna have to man up at some point, throw in a couple of money generating bums to make it the 'special six' and you got a promotional masterpiece.

got a feeling all these guys are gonna get their turn
none of them will want it with Wlad now that Vit's belt is available
but Fury is right, he deserves a shot before Wilder does
and since when was the WBC not corrupt?
for once their doing the right thing and giving Stiverne a shot
since he just beat Arreola, odd he gets to be in the title fight
but regardless, don't think Wlad will be seeing any of these guys now
open season on the WBC strap now
