Excluding Floyd/Ward, who else beats Rigo pfp and why please.

Pacquiao hurts him and finishes him within 6. Mayweather would probably lose since he relies on boxing as well and Rigo is a better/more pure boxer than Floyd, and he doesn't take unnecesary risks. Marquez wouldn't be able to touch him now at 40. Bradley wouldn't beat him either.
Golovkin would smash him too and bad. I believe Thurman would beat him as well. Maidana would trouble him too. It's not really about P4P talent that can beat him, it's more about styles.
Any fighter with dynamic movement, great speed and power in both hands stands a good chance at beating Rigo. Rigo just hides behind his defense which makes him unreachable (and boring as hell), fighters who get inside his safe zone will destroy him. Like it happened when Donaire caught him inside and another fighter who as soon as he touched Rigo he went down.
In order for Rigo to be good and effective, he needs to be in control. He create a safe zone where he operates from and keeps you at distance. He can protect that zone well. Invade the zone though and Rigo becomes vulnerable.Comment

According to "who" exactly? And since when? Since when does being popular result in top pfp ranking. Or even resume for that matter?
Khan beat Maidana years ago, but I'm willing to wager that ElChino destroys him right now.
Margarito beat Martinez years ago, but who'd win if they fought 2 years ago?
Sure pfp have become the uneducated boxing fan's popularity contest. But make no mistake, that is not the real meaning of pfp.Comment

barrera was a pretty good counter-puncher, cotto can counter-punch, bradley can counter-punch
pacquiao hurts everyone he faces, he will land on rigo and rigo has nowhere the chin of marquez, and for all we know rigo is really not down for a tough fight where his nose gets broken or he sustains an orbital fracture grinded up insides that has him feeling like he's about to die, we dont know if he has the heart to go through a war
to think rigo makes it easy with his chin, just wishful thinking, pacquiao is a speed demon, punches very hard, and likes to punch, he's tough as hell also, he's not gonna fold like agbeko
im not saying pacquiao can win for sure, but im positive rigo is hurt atleast, after that he might get stopped, pacquiao may have scored enough kd's to win, or rigo will have ran enough to win a very close decision(and run he will have to to beat pacquiao)Last edited by SplitSecond; 12-21-2013, 12:55 PM.Comment

Pacman hurts everyone he faces. Yet he hasn't recorded a ko in how long??
Rigo has enough power to make Donaire afraid to fight and make a fighter who is used to throwing close to 100 a round manage 30.Comment

I have Rigondeaux #2 P4P. Bradley went LIFE AND DEATH with Provodnikov. That reduces his ranking. He also did not CONVINCINGLY defeat Pacquiao. That reduces his rankng more. Your ranking has to do with who you beat, but more importantly, how you beat them. Bradley hasn't had any dominating wins.Comment

Pacman is a speed demon? Rigo must not be then. Pacman has good footwork, Rigo must not have then.

and just because im saying pacquiao has speed doesn't mean im neglecting rigondeaux speed, the point is it could be a shock, and rigondeaux might not be able to move the way he does when faced with someone as ferocious and speedy as pacquiao, pacquiao's speed is on par with rigo or higher p4p
also rigo's chin is poor unlike the last couple of opponents that pacquiao has faced and he's not as unhittable as you think, he gets hit, kd'd vs cardoba, wobbled twice vs marroquin, kd'd by donaire who wasn't throwing many punches at allComment
