Excluding Floyd/Ward, who else beats Rigo pfp and why please.

I hate when people bring that point up. A lot of Marquez's success vs pac was based on how he is a counter puncher who wasn't afraid to go toe to toe. You think rigo will exchange?Comment

God damn this thread is what i hate about this board. Rigo has one good win. One. An old fat and tiny Vic the prick was also easily outboxing Nonito. Easily. Both he and Rigo got dropped against Nonito. Other than that Rigo had done nothing great as a pro. I'm still trying to figure out if its just boxing hipsters on here wanting so badly to claim someone as great that they just gravitate to a boring fighter who is seen as a target by the industry. He hasn't shown greatness as a pro and unless he moves up from his weak division he never will. Beating a guy Vic was embarrassing doesn't make you great. Landing 150 punches against a punching bag over 12 round in your next fight doesn't either. Let him prove something before you idiots proclaim him a great.Comment

On topic. Rigo beats pac. Golovkin p4p beating him is laughable. The only current p4p fighter that troubles him would be ward and only because of his ability to get inside and smother.
Rigo never ever clinches. His answer to inside game is to bring his head low and throw body punches. Ward might make him uncomfortable this way. Still would go with Rigo though.
People are serious misguided when saying that Rigo doesn't exchange, that he runs, etc. The only knock you can say is that he doesn't always initiate, but then again I think that has to do more with respecting the opponent. He's only really hesitated to initiate on Donaire and Agbeko.Comment

Also, if you can't tell the difference between how Donaire fought before fighting Rigo and after, well then...
Donaire himself admitting to being unsure of himself since the loss.Comment

He would. Early in the fight Donaire landed his shots first and Rigondeaux exchanged each time. Also, Rigo's punches are more compact and direct compared to Pac.

the only guy you could make an argument for is wladimir. he's fading a bit by the look of things, though.
i have wladimir at #4 p4p, behind floyd, ward, rigondeaux. then you've got bradley, and thats the top 5.Comment
