You can't say that at this point. We know absolutely nothing of Chavez other than he can beat bums.

Chavez hasn't fought anyone. The only time he's fought someone who's ranked he's lost.
    It's called an opinion, bud.

It is possible to give a rough opinion on a fighter you know, even if the people he's fought aren't noteworthy.

He gave Thurman a really tough fight btw and I rate Thurman very highly so...

I can't believe some of the posts I'm reading in this thread. How can you possibly say Thurman is better than Bradley?

Disagree with pretty much all of that post.

His movement is sound and he's brilliant fighting on the backfoot imo. His jab is also very good, it's getting better every fight.

          I don't think so, no.

I think it's an "Opinion" with no basis.

The only basis we have is he can beat bums and when he stepped up against Thurman he lost. He gave him an issue or two but I wouldn't say it was a tough fight. And if anything that just highlighted a few of Thurman's flaws. I'm far from sold on him either at this point albeit I do think he's quite good.

I don't see how a fighter who's beaten nobody of note can be considered a better fighter than someone who's beaten fighters of note. Atleast at this exact moment in time.

We're going around in circles here. Gonna have to disagree.

We'll know more about Thurman in a couple of more fights. I can see the potential there. I still would like to see him tested in different ways.

Everyone got excited over his win over Soto Karass. I ask again. Remember Mike Jones?

Mike Jones NEVER looked that good against Soto-Karass.

Seriously, the people who say Bradley has a bad chin or an overrated resume need to find another sport to watch, because boxing isn't for them.
