What a punk. If Mayweather just came out and admitted he was afraid that Pacquiao might beat him, then I'd respect him more. He'd still be a coward, but at least he'd be an honest coward.

The reason why Mayweather hates Arum (for Sugar Adam Ali, as the reply button isn't working)

Mayweather felt Arum was short-changing him and while might not have seemed that way at the time, history proves him right. $7 mil guarantee for Hatton and no DLH fight might have seemd fair but whe you compare to what he made as a free agent, well, people can draw their own conclusions.
        Thanks dude, good read...

But if you notice, pre-oscar, floyd making 7 million guarantee vs hatton would have been big money, plus he had the ppv upside, and arum not giving him 20 mil for oscar, why would he, even oscar didnt give him 20 mil guarantee.
Arum offered him good paydays for that point of floyd's career,, yes floyd would go on and make bigger purses, but that was only after he became a superstar with the oscar fight. So yes he gets paid more for a hatton fight after oscar fight, then hatton-floyd in say 2005-06,, Floyd wasnt a certified ppv record breaker yet when arum offered him those fights.. I think Arum gave him fair deals, and the same guarantee for oscar, that floyd eventually excepted
So i dont see why floyd holds a grudge about that, and refuses to do business

The only thing that really stuck out was that floyd sued over the Gatti ppv revenue, but even the article doesnt know how that all turned out...

I just find it funny that the biggest money making fight, potentially in the history of the sport, is being passed on by a guy that calls himself money. 1st it was take the test, now its I don't ever and will never work with arum, He can have the belt, a belt don't make me..blah blah.
This punk needs to quit fighting on the 2 days that mexicanos revere cause this puto chanate isn't a warrior, he's in this sport for only money, not legacy! Wed rather see blood n guts warriors who give it their all and are willing to take on fighters the public consider threats. This is why boxing isn't as mainstream and as glamorous as it used to be cause we got fighters actin like bi.tchess and 2 promotional companies acting like as.sholes.
Whereas you are obviously a heavyweight champion of the online world. Ready to take on all-comers from the safety of your keyboard! I commend you for giving so much more to the sport of boxing than those who've stepped through the ropes. Calling actual protagonists, "coward" from across the internet rather than a boxing ring. You are truely P4P!

Let me let you on something. ALL the top guys in the sport fight for money. If it was about just the legacy, Pacquiao would've jumped at 40 mil and padded his legacy. But it's as much about the money for him as the next boxer. Don't kid yourself.

I don't care who makes what but the guy that is the biggest draw should get the biggest split. Fact is when they have common PPV opponents Floyd s numbers are better. When a guy like Ariza on Manny's team says it is Arum preventing this then I believe him. That article was written years before Manny had tax issues. When Cotto became is own boss he got his biggest purse to date along with PPV buys.

Floyd and Manny would be able to get the fight done if it is just these to guys in one room. Can we at least agree on that?

so... first it was random testing check. next it was, he's 0-2. now its because he's 1-2. now its because he just using poor floyd to pay his own debts and taxes (floyd has too high moral standards). he also has to join TMT, and have MULTIPLE fights under there label. Now he will never do business with bob arum. now he all of a sudden doesn't care about his belts and will vacate if pacquiao is made the mandatory.

it just doesn't make sense, i mean floyd most people even pacquiao fans think that you win a UD against pacman. but there must be something he sees in manny, that just makes him lay an egg every time he hears the word "pacquiao". it's the most astonishing thing, but don't worry flowmos got the excuses typed up and ready to defend their hero... just admit it guys. floyd doesn't want the fight

Rios who was scared to throw punches. It was the least amount of punches Rios threw in his entire career. Rios was in shell defense all night.

You act like they are astronomically bigger. They're not. Its not surprising that an american fighter, fighting on american networks, nets more buys either. So, yea, you need to try again. Or, do you expect a foreign fighters, whose home country is across the world, to get as many buys with such a small population of his own people in this country?

Heres an idea, get a glass of water, pour it on your head and grow a brain. The fact that Manny is just under Floyd in terms of PPVs speaks volumes of his popularity. Manny, is just being himself. Floyd, according you and many others, needed to create a persona to sell. That also, speaks volumes.

This fight is no worse than 6040. Anything more than that, you're stanning, hard. How about this for an idea. 45-45, winner takes the extra ten? Thats a real prize fight.

Pacquiao fans be honest with yourselves Arum is robbing this dude blind and does not want this fight for one reason and Ariza has said it on more than one occasion

Michael Koncz is Bob Arum’s b*tch boy. He’s not fooling anybody. Don’t you think it was odd that there was such a push to get this accounting company [VisionQwest] out? Why is that?”

Checks being written to Michael Koncz from Top Rank, what’s that all about? That sounds like the biggest conflict of interest that I’ve ever seen. I thought Michael Koncz was working for Manny in Manny’s best interest. Why is he getting checks from f**king Top Rank”

That is why he lost to Bradley (There were rumors that that was his last fight with Top Rank) A loss means no Mayweather fight and he has to sign back with Top Rank right?

I remember when Arum said that he was not going to negotiate in public and was the first one to be telling the media about the negotiations.

Greed and egoes are the one not allowing this fight to happen
