What the hell has Lucas Matthysse accomplished in the sport of boxing?

i'm not going to waste time getting into a discussion of semantics.
matthysse had "hype." so do a lot of fighters.

he was not a fabrication of hype. NSB ****riders don't knock lamont peterson out in three rounds for you. a very good fighter with knockout power does that.

One KO win does not make a fighter. Mayorga iced Forrest early, Forrest is much better than Peterson. Does that make Mayorga a very good fighter? A guy like Froch who has put together a string of good wins is MUCH more deserving of praise.

It's so funny how posters bring up the likes of Alexander and Judah, like they're some murderers row. Alexander was dominated by Kotelnik and has never been that good. Kotelnik beat Alexander MUCH more decisively than Matthysse. Judah has lost just about every big fight of his career. Big whoop that's sooo impressive

people tend to forget that lucas was looking good against garcia before his eye went - the knock down was bogus and garcia got away with alot of low blows and holding. did danny show more to his armoury of course better chin and stamina and power.

no one knew that danny could take solid punches he has looked vunerable before but he is a very very good fighter but i could see lucas beating him in a rematch.
