Nicely put. But you still didn't answer my questions. After the Rios fight. Arum came out and said he'll do any and everything possible to make the fight. Schaefer resonded by saying we'll pay you a step aside fee for Pac's services. He still gets paid. His promotional banner will be on full display during the event. Bob never responded. Not one ****in' word. Don't you think if he was as confident as you are that this is another smokescreen he would say something. Pull Floyd's card. Say cool, whatever it takes to make it happen and watch Floyd scramble to get out of it. Say kiss my ass, that's no acceptable. Not one from Arum. Why is that? Is it because he offered the exact same deal to GBP for the services of Mares to make a Donaire fight. And he knows he'd look like a total hypocrite if he tried to say anything other that OK. So I ask again since you didn't answer me the first time. If Arum stands to lose nothing financially. Why can't he take a step aside fee to make it happen? and if that's a legitimate way to do business or a smokescreen to duck. As per a recent article, Arum is Manny's promoter. Schaeffer is NOT Floyd's promoter. So it's Schaeffer that needs to stay mum NOT Arum. Floyd is his own boss, right?

Wrong. Floyd simply doesn't have a multi-fight contract and fights for them on a fight-by-fight basis. And has made it pretty clear over the last 5-6 years that that who he wants promoting his fights. And either way, Schaefer clearly said Floyd has told them he doesn't wanna deal with Arum. Seems like if Schaefer had no authority to speak on behalf of Floyd, Floyd would have come out and said so.

So with that being the case. Why can't Arum take a step aside fee if that's what needs to happen for his fighter to get the fight he supposedly wants most? Is I about Manny? Or is it about Arum having his mug plaster all over the promition? I'm confused.

BTW, why did Arum offer GBP the same proposal for Mares services to make a fight with Donaire? Nobody seems to wanna answer that one.

Schaefer wants Arum out of the picture and is scared that he, Schaefer, can be out of the picture. SO like I said, Arum IS Manny's promoter, Schaefer can be easily removed from being a part of the whole fight because he is NOT. So that is why he is making as much noise as possible. It may work because at the moment, Floyd isn't interested in fighting Manny either.

The way I see it, there is enough for all sides. If Floyd sees Manny as another A side type fighter and make it as a HUGE A vs A instead of promoting at as a A vs B fighter, the fight would attract even more casual fans. Thus generate even more money for everyone and therefore more for Floyd. If Floyd really wants it, he should look at the big picture and not only what is best for him only.
