I have been very hard on Kahn and one of his harshest critics but I am a fan of his style and technique. While he has been his own worst enemy and has done a brilliant job of alienating his fans by running his mouth I am actually looking forward to seeing him face Floyd. His chances might be slim for a victory but as we all know anything is possible in Boxing and I do believe that he will be a smart fighter against Mayweather and give the fans a great show. One cannot deny that at the least it will be an excellent display of Boxing not brawling.

It's funny, that supposed Arum quote is always thrown out by Mayweather fans to justify him yet again not fighting one of the best in his division, but it was actually Mayweather who claimed Cotto was "too green" to fight him at that point (2005.)

When people refer to Mayweather ducking Cotto, they're referring to when they were both operating at 147, and when Cotto was coming off of the wins over Judah and Mosley. The best, most natural matchup to be made in boxing, and Mayweather wouldn't even acknowledge the possibility of it.

Cotto was with Arum. It wasn't happening.

His record at junior welter was even more impressive. 17-0...oh wait.

He also needed to build his own fanbase and become a CEO.
