He was just 157 fight night, 135 would be very hard. Rios is never making 140 either. That wasn't his LW debut either, he dropped down from LW for PDL, who came up from FW

I doubt it. He lost when his career was about to take off and he lacks the nationalistic fan base that will always cheer for you even if you lose. He also showed the lack of footwork, output, defense and power to go against above average opposition @WW or even JRWW. He is a solid fighter that will lose to most of the top 10 fighters in any weight class and the way Chino beat him destroys his whole persona.

Kid best bet is to make a career like an Andre Berto.

Isn't this the same guy who said over 20,000 tickets were sold? And the announced crowd was less than 12,000?

So why do people prefer him over Bob Arum again?

            Broner NO problem

I believe Richard Schaefer is wrong on this one. I do have to give Boner
Credit for is the beating he was able to sustain against
the Argentine fighter. He has now lost 2 fights in a row......
this fight and the Malagnanni fight.

His claim to fame is his agent and Golden Boy.
He is a HIGHLY overpaid boxer. Those funds
should be available for more promising
boxers who need the opportunity and would
fight for much less money but still give
Showtime quality telecasts. Put Broner on ESPN. That's
where he belongs. Or Fox/NBC boxing shows.

I thought about this as well. I don't think he necessarily needshelp on his techniques. But I do think it would do him some good to relocate to Vegas and at least train outta Floyd's gym. I think it would do him some good to simply be around Floyd and see how he lives his day to day life. I been watching Floyd since 96 and I've never seen him as outta shape as AB wass coming into this camp. Floyd showed him a lotta love on Twitter so I doubt Floyd would have a problem with it. If AB is serious about maximizing his potential, whatever it is.

I think his trainer is fine. He's been with AB since he was a kid. And at this point in his career, he is what he is. If he just wanted to be trained by a Mayweather.. I think Roger would be a better fit than Floyd Sr. Simply because AB is a more offensive minded fighter and Roger is a more offensive minded trainer. But I don't think it would make much difference.

Richard Schaefer is just another GBP clown. He isn't new to incorrect declarations.

"There's a new Manny Pacquiao. Lucas "The Machine" Mateeeeez!"-Richard Schaefer.

                Um...yeah.

I noticed that the arena was ridiculously empty. Less than 12,000? That's pretty sad, and it does sound accurate.

Well you asked who thought he was elite, and i answered the question...

Schaefer: "Adrien Broner Can Still Become PPV Headliner"

Reality: Schaefer having a serious 'wishful thinking' moment, after crying his eyes out last night.

This scatterbrained, low classed imbecile doesn't have what it takes to dedicate himself properly to the sport. He is everything that's wrong with current boxing. Schaefer, you have plenty of other fighters who will actually WORK at their craft. Lose this loser and you won't miss it a bit.

Did you think he looked solid at 57? Because right before the opening bell I noticed that he didn't really have the same definition. And also, he came into camp outta shape as hell. So its not uncommon to rehydrate higher than normal. I think he could fight at 35 just fine because he looked a solid division smaller than Maidana, at least. But we'll see.

As for his "debut." When I say debut I'm taking about at a world class level. Most guys fight a couple pounds above where they ultimately settle in and go for a title.
