Broner is all mouth and he cannot back it up,no post fight interview in the ring after getting *****-slapped by Maidana. Broner if you fight top class fighters you are going to get your ass kicked some more. Broner is all hype.

It didn't surprise me at all to see him dropped. But that's because I view AB a lil differently than the majority of folks. Most seemed to think that AB is a natural welter that wasa draining himself down to fight smaller guys. I view him as a lightweight who moved up chasing paydays and trying to manufacture storylines that could be sold as an event. I fully expected him to know he was hit if Chino got him clean. I kinda equate it to what happen to Floyd against Mosley. Floyd had fought JMM and Hatton in his previous two fights. And even though Floyd was certainly more natural a welter at that point than AB. But the first time Shane touched him, it ****ed his world up. Difference is, Floyd was good enough defensively to survive until he recovered. AB probably took more punishment in that second round that he has his whole career. And personally, I don't think he ever fully recovered.

Gamboa has looked like **** lately, but if he can shake the rust off and get himself together, stylistically he dominates Broner. Gamboa has seriously fallen off recently, but he's still got much more real talent.

Not nearly talented enough to be a PPV star.

Thats why Goldenboy promotions havent learned yet. Dont be giving all these young guys (Broner, Canelo, Amir, Mares, Ortiz) the keys to the throne when they aint even kings (maywether, pacquio, martinez, cotto, bhop) yet

But I see a number of guys from 135 to 154 that would be a serious threat.
You know, after the Demarco fight. I thought that Gamboa was tailormade for AB and he would basically be AB's Chico Corrales. But after the Rees fight, I damn near did a 180 on how I saw that fight. I think it would an exciting fight. And I honestly think it would come down to who can get who iin trouble first because they both would be landing bombs.

I'm not sold on Crawford just yet. I wanna see him with a lil stiffer comp before giving him any legitimate thought.

As for AB and his dedication to his craft. Its up to him. But I think he's gonna need help from those in charge of his career. I've said numerous times that I feel he should stayed at 35 and start building his resume. But everyone around him was so anxious to turn him into a star, they totally neglected AB the boxer. Personally, I don't understand why promoters now are trying to turn these guys into stars instead of letting them be fighters and let everything else fall where it may.

I think Gamboa is just as, if not more flawed than AB. I don't think either dominates the other. Plus AB is huge compared to Gamboa. So I think you may be a lil caugh up in the moment thinking Gamboa would dominate it.

Gamboa has flaws, sure, but stylistically he'll give Broner headaches. Broner can't deal with much movement or things coming from funny angles. He wants you directly in front of him, and he prefers you to be a midget.
