To show you how ****** this mu****a is. He's gonna be on here tonight, and everyday in the foreseeable future talking about Floyd gonna duck Maidana. Then he's gonna turn around and bash Floyd if he fights Khan, totally dismissing that Khan beat Maidana. Like I said, that dude is a ****ing clown.

          • this is were Stafford and Haymon need to step in and sit Broner down for a while. He thinks this loss is damaging, If he goes right back into a fight with Maidana and loses again whats left of his young career will be finished for good, it was not a close fight tonight as far as the judges saw it, and thats without the KD's. Broner should go back down to 140 and rebuild his career for a couple years in my opinion and then if he keeps winning when he matures a bit around age 26-27 put him back on the elite stage and see what he can do because he just simply isn't ready right now at least not at 147.

No fighter detoured Maidana from throwing. I just don't think Broner had the right gameplan. That being said, he should go down to 140. In the ring, he looked smaller than Paulie and Chino. He is a small welterweight. But if he continues to fight at 147, he should be using his feet more.

1st off..this thread is supposed to be about a maidana vs broner rematch..but for some reason I knew some numb-nutt would throw mayweather's name in the mix. The problem w/ certain sports "fanatics" is that they place their love/like for a certain athlete or team ahead of sound reasoning and actuality. Anybody who thinks Floyd has "ducked" pac is delusional..No more so than manny has "ducked" Floyd . Both sides/camps have done their fair share to negate negotiations so there's no need to blame one w/out the other. I've said this before and I will reiterate...What slick..counter punching boxer (on top of his game) has manny beaten??? He has NEVER been able to clearly best marquez and although the Bradley decision has been highly contested, it was at least close enough for the judges to 'get it right' or 'get it wrong' as some lament. Love or hate mayweather jr..He IS the best pure boxer...I repeat PURE boxer the sport has seen in the past 2 decades and based on the difficulties pac has w/ foot / hand speed, excellent counter punchers..How can anyone possibly fig he'd be a lock to defeat mayweather who has better defense...better timing & hand speed and is a better counter puncher than Bradley or marquez....Has nothing to do w/ liking the man..Its merely fact.

And for all that ducking and hand picking talk...Any fighter in the top 5 p4p who is also a ppv draw picks who he wants to fight. It is what it is..there's a reason why pac & his camp opted to fight rios after negotiations w/ marquez & Bradley fell thru b/c they wanted to fight ea other. You honestly think his promoter and his camp didn't think he'd look good against a one dimensional fighter like rios...Come on now. There's also a reason why he wouldn't fight cotto at the 154 lb jr ww limit instead offering to fight at 150. Don't scream on just money for handpicking fights. Plenty others top ranked fighters w/ ppv appeal do the same ish.

                • Broner wants a rematch right away? How about this time next month? Both fighters are in shape; shouldn't need any extensive training camp; 30 days to recupe and have at it as the first big fight of 2014!

                  • Watch - in a month Broner will be seen at some night club 50 pounds heavier looking 10 years older and trying to get the attention of some stripper who will ignore him. His balloon was popped.

You know wut i agree to a certain extent, but broner overtrained, and not making excuses for cloner cuz i dislike the guy immensley, but i think if he would of aknowledged the threat maidana really was and started training camp a month earlier it would of been a closer fight,i said to alot of people who were praising cloner as the next big thing to floyd, that he needef to win this fight convinsly to even be considered a great fighter, today he proved he was never nothing more then a very good copy of floyd...nothing more nothing less
