I don't think his ego will allow him to give up. He never had Paulie or Maidana in trouble, he might have to move down to 140. I don't see him having success at WW unless he's willing to overhaul his style.

I agree. He's a fighter at heart and wants to jump right back on the horse. Respect him for that. But I still think part of wanting a rematch is him still having visions of being a star. And the easiest way, at least in his mind, to regain the star power he had built was to beat Maidana. But that's a ****** career move. He would be much better served to take his ass back down to lightweight and start defending that title. And allow himself to grow into a jr welter and then maybe a welter. which could do irreparable damage if he loses again. If he can go back down to 135, then maybe he should. However, I think he should move to 140 and start over. Fight Postol/Cano/Matthysse and try to win another belt.
