I only read the first 3 Pr of your reply and I find your logic and heart infalable your example of you being torn on Ike is true and unfortunetly so Let me be crude and put it this way The contender of the 90's was put in jail cause he beat up a hooker in vegas or somthing like that It must have been a brutal seen for it to come to prosicution and if this is so Hopefully he will stay in prison. I was pissed when the Tooke was executed ya he killed people and he deseved to die but should he have? No he was no longer a danger and I do not feel bad about paying tax dollors for him to stay alive in jail because he now had a possitive meesage of meaning to give to troubled youth now that voice is silenced. Sorry little of topic but Ike has nothing possitive about him and should stay there untill he is old and I have taught my daughters should they come how to wreck shop. i havent seen to much ike, he seemed alright, this fight we will never get to see so anyone predictions can be right

Yet you fail to realize, he was wrongly accused, and it was even in the news and everything, He never admitted anything and he was saying he is innocent, Ofcourse anyman who would do such crime would say that, but the prosecutor just took the call-girls words for it WITHOUT ANY PROOF THAT IKE DID SEXUALLY ASSAULT HER.

Similar to Tyson's case... He may return but he will be out of his Prime by then unless he gets a Parole this year (Ike)

The only reason people got pissed off is Ike was sentenced without any Proof, he just took the girls statement and that was it, It was a controversy, I have followed this fighter for sometime now thats why I know all this Information, and I have actually met the guy myself at the Byrd fight.

Ike was a good fighter IMO, but at the point of his career where he went away, he hadn't shown any signs of greatness. He was pretty sound technically, had pretty good handspeed, and had good stamina, on top of having a good chin. However, I've seen a couple of his fights where he appeared to be unable to hit his opponent until they gassed. Something else I didn't really like about him is that he didn't put the kind of pressure on his opponents that I thought he should. He had a boxer-puncher's style, but I don't think his boxing skills would have ever been his bread and butter, IMO he just had power. I don't think VK is great either, but I could easily see Ike standing in front of VK all night trying to out jab him, and allowing VK to make it late into the fight still relatively fresh and able to move when Ike makes a last minute attempt to take him out.

tough call. i think ike would beat vitali with his stamina and endurance. vitali would tire, or slow down, leaving ike to pound out a possible TKO in the later rounds.

Yeah, where's the article that describes how the girl was trying to hide in the closet to keep away from him?

He was convicted of sexual assault, and I can guarantee you that there was evidence of battery/assault on the girl for Ike to be convicted like that.

Ike will never be a factor in boxing again, other than the subject of speculation threads like this and the obligatory "When does Ike get out?" thread that HAS TO pop up three times a year, by law, on every boxing message board.
