Vitali has ouboxed & retired a #1.. same difference & The Klitschko's have been 1 & 2 for over a decade... so that's ten years where it couldn't have happened whatsoever.. ask yourself how many have they faced & there records in such situations & you'll give a bigger & more accurate picture here.. even if they are 0-1 (Lewis vs Klitschko) they are 106-4 in other bouts.. so unless one has fought & lost to said fighters..you have to blame all #1's & # 2's FOR NOT facing them & blame them for not trying to ktfo there own flesh & blood... kapish!

      Sure they did.

But why are you worried about stats and technicalities. I thought it was all about the relative quality of opposition. I.E. fight Pulev and don't fight WBO's mandatory bum.

      You're going into Wlad_Ownz territory and that's a fight you can't win.

Weren't Byrd and Sanders #2 for their stoppage wins over the other brother?

They were as much paper champions as those spoken about today. They swapped the title between themselves for about 2-3 years in the most disorganised title period in history. None of them was really a champion and generally lost the title in the first defence, except for a couple.

I'm not trying to take away from Louis' dominance; he was much better in every way. This period I mention might be a blueprint for the time after the Klitschkos retire, when there will be about a dozen aspiring titleholders of whom none is really much better than the other.

                    Just my opinion.
