When one questions duran's greatness, this is a signal that it's time to do boxing homework. Start with boxing 101 chapter.

Why would anybody ask about Duran's greatness?

He wasn't fighting bums until Leonard, and the Leonard win is probably the greatest win in the history of the sport.

Absolute PEAK PEAK Leonard, and Duran was already in his 30's and moving up in weight 2 weight classes, and he just straight up out fought Leonard.

Then throw in that he moved up 2 more weight classes, and gave Marvin Hagler, one of the greatest middleweights of all time a competitive fight. He was well past his prime, well outside of his best weight, and he did it.

Bums? Esteban DeJesus is regarded as an ATG Lightweight by boxing historians. Carlos Palomino is a bum now? Really?!?! Please click the X before you embarrass the sport further
