The worst year of Brandon Rios’ boxing career can’t end soon enough.

The aftermath of his one-sided points loss to Manny Pacquiao last month in Macau grew that much worse in the aftermath, when it was learned that the former 140 lb. titlist failed his post-fight urinalysis. The final of five tests conducted under an agreement with Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA) turned up traces of banned substance methylexanamine, also known as dimenthylamylamine (DMAA), which is commonly used as a dietary supplement.

posted on this site after the weigh in & when they went in2 the ring was how "flabby" Rios looked...obviously he didn't take enough, or advice on how 2 use it & not get caught from Pac...better dead than a cheat, thief or liar...

I have worked with Brandon many times as a nutritionist. He has poor self-image and refuses to even take his shirt off without Hydroxycut. Please understand that the only way he would enter the ring is with this supplement.

We have worked to remove all issues of US Weekly and People magazine from his house, but it is hard. I have found him up late at night catching up on "who wore it best?" and "guess whose cellulite this is?". We are working to explain to Brandon that he is beautiful in his own right, even if he is a little pudgy.

Please be kind, he is a sensitive man. Specifically, please don't mention anything about his upper thighs. He is very insecure.

Isn't Ariza supposed to be updated on banned substances? How did that get through?

I'm tired of these dietary drugs being banned. It obviously does not help Rios become a better fighter so what the hell? Unless it's a masking agent or something. I don't know much about banned drugs but this is ridiculous, they should let fighters take dietary drugs to make weight as long as it is not a masking agent.
