Glad that he was caught. Now he needs a fine at about 50% of his purse and a minimum of 1 year suspension to make this work as an effective deterrent.

You have no idea! At best, he might get fined by the Chinese Commission. But how will this be enforced when he was already paid and does not reside in China?

No suspensions can happen because the fight took place in China, not America. If the fight were tested with USADA, then USADA would have sanctioned Rios and would push to make sure boxing Commissions in America enforced the sanction.

But Rios got caught through VADA, and VADA does not sanction athletes. And the Chinese Commission is basically powerless after the fight. And everyone knows Rios ain't fighting in China again.
