You make a good point, Dan; but, by the same token, you can't predict how the other guy would adjust to the adjustments. Yes, Garcia was improving and landing punches, but he still lost the rounds. What's to say he wouldn't have continued to lose rounds, if not for the big hook? (And, no, I don't think that was a "Hail Mary" shot.)

Khan and Malignaggi aren't exactly alike -- not many fighters are carbon copies of each other -- but they share some similarities that might give a clue as to how Paulie might fare. Malignaggi lacks some things that Khan has, but he offers some things that Amir doesn't. I think the plusses might outweigh the minuses.

Khan's shown me in the past that he has no ability to make adjustments. He's extremely predictable and that's why as soon as I saw Danny was adjusting and timing him as early as the 2nd round that he was going to hurt him at some point. I think Danny landing the punch he did and doing serious damage was inevitable, as opposed to lucky as most seem to think.

I don't think Khan and Malignaggi are alike at all other than handspeed and again all that fight showed me was Danny has the ability to time speed pretty well.

I don't see anything Malignaggi brings that's going to beat Danny. He might have some success but there's no way he's beating him. I guess he'll just be another style that supposed to trouble Danny that he crosses off the list.

He was getting Khan in the second round, too. He buckled his legs with a right hand that round, if I remember correctly. Even without the hook it appeared Garcia would likely land more and more on Khan.

He lost both the first 2 rounds but he was calculating, getting his timing, making adjustments etc and landing hard punches. Especially in the second.

Before the fight I gave Garica no chance other than "landing a good shot" because I felt his power was underrated. Ironically, it seems a little overrated now.

Point being, while I was watching the fight, knowing Garcia could crack, and seeing his quickly he was adjusting and timing Khan coming in and landing hard shots I knew it was a matter of time before Garcia badly hurts him and low and behold it happened the next round.

Paulie might whip Garcia. I think if "Berto" Ortiz shows up he ko's Garcia. Pacquiao whips Garcia. Mayweather takes Garcias soul. Garcia probably whips Maidana. Garcia vs Broner is 50/50 to me.

Interesting take by Judah but it's a completely different fight. Danny could have trouble with Paulie's speed and boxing, but he could also come forward and try and KO Paulie.

Either way I'm interested and a win for Paulie would seriously resurrect his career. Not that it's dead or anything but it would put him back in the picture for some big money fights.

Swift is the YOUNG UNDERRATED UNDEFEATED new stud on the block....he hurt dudes with his shots....he knocks them out if they get reckless and he's still getting better....hasn't reached his ceiling yet

Paulie better knock Swift out....he's NOT winning any decision....he's not that good of a boxer to win more than 7 rounds against Swift imo....if he jab and move his way to let's say 7 winning rounds....mean while he's getting pushed back by hard head snapping sweat flying power shots here and there....judges won't show him love....nah

Bottom line....it will be IMPOSSIBLE for Paulie to win a decision....he know it but I guess being under the Haymon umbrella got him gassed about the food chain

Not even close.

He's still young, every single fight, every day he matures and every bit of experience he get's he becomes stronger, faster, crisper, harder punching and just better.

Danny's one of the most improved fighters in recent years. I struggle as to how people can't see it.

Compare him to the guy who fought Theophane and Holt to the guy who fights today, it's night and day from what I see.
