I think at some point the comparisons have to end, both have been equally dominant so far but Floyd is far more versatile, lets be realistic here.

It will never end and it shouldn't. Every great boxer from this point forwawrd will be compared to Floyd and rightfully so. Great fighters set standards.

There are like 1,000 threads with Floyd vs. Sweet Pea as well.

His second-to-last fight was almost exactly two years ago, versus Mares. He fought Luis Melendez (36-9) almost nine months ago. I'd call that fairly inactive.
I thought you meant inactive in the fight itself. My bad.

If only Rigo would've turned pro earlier. It's tough being Cuban. All these fighters are would've/could've.
Floyd and rigor have almost the same ko percentage yet Floyd has fought much better competition so you tell me who has more power

That's a better comparison because Whitaker had many ways in dismantling his opponents, he bested JCC on the inside, he could sit in the pocket as well as he could box. His precision to the body is among the best I've seen, arguably the greatest southpaw jab and he had one of the best right hooks (southpaws normally don't have that punch) I've seen.

Again, Rigondeaux has been extremely dominant, hasn't been forced to show more dimensions to his game but Floyd and Whitaker willfully beat their opponents at their own game and while that isn't a knock on Rigo, that has to count for something. That's the difference for me.

They're all inferior to Donaire. Rigo already beat him so these are match ups he gets a pass for cause he already beat the best.

Man you are acting like a flowmo now, why you scared for him to go up to 126? You don't got confidence in his ability or what? thats baby weight man.

I had this discussion with you or someone else before. It's not baby weight when his opponents could possibly come in near the LW limit or more.

Have to agree, I fell asleep, probably the best sleep i had in years.

Might put the sleep mode on the teli next time he fights.

Rigo should move to the fw division to test himself. If his really that hit and dont get hit guy. He has skills but he is running out of opponent in the superbantam div. so a better thing for him to do is climb weight. 4pounds added weight would give him more pop.

I dont know but calling guys out to stoop down into his division is bs. He is not an a-side fighter and a ticket seller so he cant dictate terms

I wanna see Rigondeaux go to 126 at least. You're seriously fooling yourselves if you think Rigo can't go to 126.
