Jr would indeed probably be the best option. Best $$, best chance of winning, good brawler fight for the fans... Ward, unless he swarms him and gets lucky, he'd lose... and Groves he probably loses as well.As much as we would all love to see the re-match, I think there is morem oney to be made in fighting Chavez Jr. HBO ppv is worth more than Sky PPV, Froch Groves wasn't even picked up mainstream us channel. As a fan would love the rematch, but if I'm Froch, looking at business and payday, I'm fighting the mexican!Comment

Groves earned himself an immediate rematch in that fight. The public wants it too. Desperately. His promoter wants it. The only one who doesn't seem to want it is Froch - for what reason?Yeah the difference is that Carl Froch is a proven fighter who's literally fought everyone and doesn't have to do anything that some chump like Groves says.
George Groves was an unproven prospect who stole a decision against another prospect and then thought he was too good to rematch him. And then he had the nerve to throw the British title in a bin to duck a rematch with Anderson who he beat by controversial stoppage.
The guy is a hypocrite and anyone defending him whilst criticising Froch are jokes
He was every bit as proven as James DeGale. People were just blowing smoke up degale saying he was something he wasn't. I don't think that's true. Warren could have made Groves an offer to fight Degale in an immediate rematch if they were desperate enough to have it - but he didn't.
Lol duck Anderson - come on. It was a bit of a quick stoppage but he didn't complain about it. He looked hurt. A rematch should have probably taken place, but for whatever reason it didn't. Don't think anyone particularly feel they were let down.Comment
