I've been wondering about this since the Agbeko fight. What will Arum do when his contract with Rigo is up? After all the shit Bob has said about his own fighter, he'd look like a major hypocrite if he re-upped with Guille.

If a Rigo fight goes down in Miami in March (like they've said), I'll be there along with a few guys from this forum. I would be willing to bet real money that whatever venue they choose will be packed. It would make Arum think real hard about his future with "El Chacal."

Espinoza on ShowTime said he would gladly take Rigo back.

I don't even care if he is the headliner. They can squeeze him in on GBP's stacked undercards. Santa Cruz and other fighters don't headline either. As ****ty as Top Rank's PPV undercards are I wouldn't even mind if they put Rigo on Pac's undercards or one of their Macau cards.

People have a misconception that everybody thinks he should be the #1 cash cow, headlining fights and generating millions. That's not the case. Boxing fans just want to see him fight.

I think he needs to try somthing in Miami to find out for himself what to do. He'd be a fool not to try . It's a business risk but it has to be done. Arum is trying to get new markets in china and build somthing with shimming but isn't willing to try somthing here in the states . The reward is well worth the risk in IMO

I would pay up to $200 to watch this. And I'm just talking about on tv, as a PPV
looks good on paper but wouldn't be competitive...........

The showing Rigo put on versus Agbeko, although masterful, will not hit a chord with ignorant fans and that's where the big money gets made with the everyday sucker.

Man, I like Lomo a lot. I want to see him kick ass; but I agree, fighting Rigo this early in his pro career is not likely to end well.

I disagree. Lomachenko would be the most talented fighter Rigo has ever fought in the pros. Sure, him taking the fight with anything less then 10 fights would be RIDICULOUS and the sexy pick would be Rigo due to the inexperience of Lomachenko and jumping into the lions den..... But we still don't know fully how the translation to the pro game will be, i would say IF Lomachenko disposed of Salido impressively..... It would seem the adjustment is there and he would just need some rounds.

I'm a big fan of both, but I've seen Rigo get onocked down against a much lesser fighter, obviously with only 1 fight in the pros under him, the "lesser fighter" is due to the talent and total package lomo has and not what he's done in the pros thus far. But anyway, he's not unbeatable, and i think Lomachenko could crack his chin possibly

It's obviously way too early for him, but down the line this is a 50/50 fight for me. Many people would disagree with that and I can't blame them. This is just my opinion

You just brought up an interesting scenario. It's quite conceivable that Rigo go over to Golden Boy and fight Santa Cruz on Showtime. Wow. That would be lovely.

And I agree, Guillermo's not a headliner. I'm happy to see him on the undercard of major PPVs. He had that chance, but that Cordoba performance was just horrendous. He hasn't exactly put that behind him. The Donaire fight was masterful, and even that wasn't good enough. This latest exhibition against Agbeko, although not his fault, may have sunk his stock to new depths.
